Abstract

　静止側部材１０１に取り付けられスラストリップ１２を有する静止側密封要素１と、回転側部材１０２に嵌着されるスリーブ２１及びその一端から延びるフランジ２２からなるスリンガ２とを備える密封装置において、スラストリップ１２がフランジ２２に摺動可能に密接され、スリーブ２１におけるフランジ２２と反対側の端部２１ａに、回転側部材１０２の外周面に密接される環状のゴム状弾性体３が一体に設けられる。このため、スリーブ２１と回転側部材１０２との嵌合部の微小隙間を通じての漏れや異物の浸入が確実に防止される。
