Abstract

【課題】本発明は、ＭＰＥＧ等のフレーム間予測に基づいて符号化された動画像ストリームを複数のチャネルから受信し、フレーム内符号化ピクチャを含む動画像ストリームを各チャネルから短時間で収集する動画像受信装置を提供する。 【解決手段】動画像ストリームのフレーム内符号化ピクチャを受信する符号受信時刻と、動画像ストリームに含まれる再生時刻情報及び復号時刻情報のいずれか一方又は双方を含む周期性時刻情報とを、複数チャネルの各前記動画像ストリーム毎に各々蓄積処理する時刻情報蓄積処理手段１２と、周期性時刻情報に基づいて、フレーム内符号化ピクチャの符号受信時刻を予測する符号受信時刻予測手段２２・２４と、予測された予測符号受信時刻情報に基づいて、受信すべき前記動画像ストリームのチャネルを選択制御するチャネル選択制御手段２６と、を含む。
