Abstract

　前段ガス圧縮機アセンブリ（３）は、駆動側スクリューロータ（１１）と、この両側から、これに直交する状態で噛み合っている二組の扁平な従動側スクリューロータ（１２、１３）とを有している。駆動側スクリューロータ（１１）は、その中心軸線を含む平面で切断した場合におけるロータ輪郭形状が、そのガス吸込側からガス吐出側に向けて外径が漸増するように凹曲線によって規定されている。この凹状曲線は、駆動側スクリューロータ（１１）の中心軸線から当該凹曲線上の点まで距離と、各従動側スクリューロータ（１２、１３）の中心から当該点までの距離とが同一または一定の比率に保持される曲線である。駆動側スクリューロータ（１１）の吐出側の軸端面には冷却ファン（１１５）が一体形成されている。小型でシンプルな構造の空冷式容積形オイルフリースクリューガス圧縮機を実現できる。
