Abstract

　鉄浴式溶解炉が炉底に備える底吹き羽口から炉内の溶鉄層中に不活性ガスを吹き込んで該溶鉄層を攪拌しつつ、炭材内装酸化鉄塊成化物を加熱還元して得られた固体還元鉄、炭材および造滓材を前記溶解炉に装入し、前記溶解炉が備える上吹きランスから酸素含有ガスを上吹きすることにより、前記炭材および／または溶鉄中の炭素を燃焼させた燃焼熱で、前記固体還元鉄を溶解して溶鉄を製造する溶鉄製造方法であって、前記炭材は、前記溶鉄層上の前記固体還元鉄を溶鉄に溶解する際に生成したスラグで形成されたスラグ層において、上層部に該炭材が懸濁した炭材懸濁スラグ層を形成し、さらに該炭材懸濁スラグ層上に該炭材のみからなる炭材被覆層を形成するように装入され、前記溶解炉内に蓄えられた前記溶鉄および前記スラグを前記溶解炉が炉側の下部に備えたタップホールから排出する溶鉄製造方法。
