Abstract

　極細長繊維束からなるウェブの絡合構造を含む極細長繊維不織布とその内部に含浸された高分子弾性体とからなる下記(1)～(6)の特徴を有する皮革様シート。 (1)極細長繊維束が平均単繊維繊度0.5 デシテックス以下の極細長繊維を5～70 本含み、(2)極細長繊維束の平均繊度が3 デシテックス以下であり、(3)極細長繊維束からなるウェブが積み重ねられており、(4)極細長繊維と高分子弾性体の質量比が70／30～40／60 の範囲にあり、(5)高分子弾性体が実質的に連続した状態で存在しており、(6)縦方向／横方向の破断強力比が1／1～1.3／1 であり、かつ、縦方向と横方向の破断時伸長率がそれぞれ80％以上であり、その縦方向／横方向比が1／1～1／1.5 である。 この皮革様シートは自然で天然皮革に近い充実感、ソフトな風合いを有し、機械的物性の縦横方向の差が少なく、適度な伸びにくさ、および持続する回復力を有する。
