Abstract

 同軸ケーブルを用いたワイヤーハーネスにおいて、コネクタ部におけるグランドバーと同軸ケーブルのシールドとを環境に配慮した工程で、かつ良好な電気特性が得られるように接続する。  グランドバー(10)は、シールド(16)よりも低い融点を有する材質で形成される。例えば、グランドバー(10)は、シールド(16)を構成する銅より低融点の真鍮やアルミニウムで構成される。グランドバー(10)とシールド(16)とは、グランドバー(10)にレーザ光を照射し、スポット(30)にてレーザ融着を行うことで接続される。シールド(16)はグランドバー(10)より高融点であるので、レーザ融着にて溶融は抑制され、その下層の内部誘電体層への熱ダメージが抑制される。また、ハンダを用いないことにより、環境への悪影響が抑制される。
