Abstract

 本発明は、珪酸を含有しない現像液による現像処理において、現像時に感光性平版印刷版材料から溶出した色素が、印刷版材料に対して再付着せず、印刷版自体の汚れと、印刷に際し印刷物の画像の汚れのない、感光性平版印刷版材料及びその現像処理方法を提供する。この感光性平版印刷版材料は、アルミニウム板支持体上にエチレン性不飽和結合含有単量体、光重合開始剤、光増感色素および高分子結合材を含有する光重合型感光性樹脂組成物が塗設され、珪酸を含まない現像処理液で処理される感光性平版印刷版材料において、該光増感色素が下記一般式(I)で表される化合物であり、かつ連鎖移動剤を含有することを特徴とする。   【化1】
