Abstract

 プラズマディスプレイパネル(10)は、放電空間(DS)を介して互いに対向する第1基板(FS)及び第2基板(RS)を有する。前記第2基板は、ガラス基板の表面に導電膜を形成し、当該導電膜をエッチングによりパターニングしてアドレス電極(AE)を形成し、前記ガラス基板表面及び前記アドレス電極を覆う誘電体層を形成した後、当該誘電体層及び前記ガラス基板を部分的に除去して放電空間を形成することにより製造される。前記誘電体層の除去されずに残った部分(BR2)及び前記ガラス基板の除去されずに残った部分(BR1)は、アドレス電極を内包する隔壁となる。
