Abstract
A plasma display panel (10) is provided with a first substrate (FS) and a second substrate (RS), which confront each other through a discharge space (DS). The second substrate is formed by forming a conductive film on a surface of a glass substrate, patterning the conductive film by etching, forming an address electrode (AE), forming a dielectric layer covering the surface of the glass substrate and the address electrode, partially removing the dielectric layer and the glass substrate and forming the discharge space. A part (BR2) which is left without being removed in the dielectric layer and a part (BR1) which is left without being removed in the glass substrate become partitions including the address electrode.
