Abstract

 超臨界または亜臨界状態を形成することなく実現容易な条件でポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂を含む製品が加水分解処理される。ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂の分解回収方法であって、加水分解処理と、分別回収処理とを有し、加水分解処理は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂を含む被処理物を、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂の融点温度以下の処理温度条件下で、その処理温度における飽和水蒸気圧の圧力で満たされた水蒸気雰囲気内に曝露させ、その処理温度で発生した飽和水蒸気によって被処理物中に含まれるポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂を加水分解し、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂の重合前の分解生成物を生成させる処理であり、分別回収処理は、加水分解処理による分解生成物を気体または液状成分と、固形成分とに分別してそれぞれ別個に回収する処理である。
