Abstract

 簡素な構成で、ロータとポンプ室との隙間を精度良く調整可能にすることを課題とする。ルーツ式ポンプ(1)のケーシング(2)が、回転軸(A1,A2)の軸方向に沿って分割された第1ケーシング(3)と第2ケーシング(4)を有し、第1ケーシング(3)および第2ケーシング(4)が、それぞれ、回転軸(A1,A2)を支持する軸受(66,67,71,72)を支持する軸受支持部(46a,47a,46b,47b)と回転軸(A1,A2)に設けられたロータ(R1~R6)が収容されるロータ収容空間(P1a~P6a,P1b~P6b)とを有する。したがって、一方のケーシング(3,4)に支持されてロータ(R1~R6)が外部に露出した状態で、全てのロータ(R1~R6)とポンプ室の一部を構成するロータ収容空間(P1a~P6a,P1b~P6b)との隙間を測定できるため、隙間を精度良く調整できる。
