Abstract
Bei einer Vorrichtung zum automatischen Andocken von Anwendungsmodulen (9) an eine Plattform (17) eines verfahr- und lenkbaren Roboters (1) sind Mittel zur automatischen Positionierung des Roboters (1), insbesondere der Roboterplattform, unterhalb des Anwendungsmoduls (9), zum Anheben und Absenken der Plattform (17) und zum lösbaren formschlüssigen und elektrischen Verbinden der Plattform (17) mit dem jeweiligen Anwendungsmodul (9) vorgesehen, sodass das jeweilige Anwendungsmodul (9) angehoben und verfahren werden kann.
Description
Vorrichtung zum automatischen Andocken von Anwendunqsmodulen an eine Roboterplattform sowie Vorrichtung zum Bereitstellen und Transportieren von Anwendungsmodulen
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum automatischen Andocken von Anwendungsmodulen an eine Plattform eines verfahr- und lenkbaren Roboters. Weiters betrifft die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung zum Bereitstellen und/oder Transportieren von Anwendungsmodulen für behinderte Menschen sowie die Verwendung eines verfahr- oder lenkbaren Roboters zum Bereitstellen und/oder Transportieren von Anwendungsmodulen für behinderte Menschen.
Aufgrund der steigenden Lebenserwartung der Menschen in den westlichen Ländern steigt auch der Anteil der bewegungsbehinderten Personen kontinuierlich. Aktuelle Statistiken aus Europa geben an, dass 1% der Bevölkerung einen Rollstuhl und 5,6% der Bevölkerung Gehhilfen benötigen. Wenn man Personen mit chronischen Krankheiten wie beispielsweise Polyarthritis, Rheumatismus, etc. ebenfalls berücksichtigt, ergeben sich erheblich größere Zahlen.
Der Verlust motorischer Fähigkeiten betrifft besonders die betagte weibliche Bevölkerungsgruppe und zwar nicht nur wegen der höheren Lebenserwartung, sondern auch wegen geschlechtsspezifischer chronischer Krankheiten. Während 31% der männlichen Bevölkerung zwischen 70 und 84 Jahre eine Mobilitätsbehinderung haben, liegt der Prozentsatz für Frauen bei 52%. Da der Verlust motorischer Fähigkeiten nur langsam und graduell passiert, besteht für die Betroffenen nie ein dringender Grund, sofort einen Rollstuhl zu benutzen. Der größte Teil der betagten Bevölkerung scheut davor zurück, konventionelle Mobilitätshilfen wie beispielsweise Krücken, Rollator, Rollstuhl etc. zu verwenden, da diese als stigmatisierend emp- funden werden, auch wenn das Gehen für diese Personen mit Mühen, Schmerzen und erhöhtem Unfallrisiko verbunden ist.
Zur Erhöhung der Lebensqualität von betagten und in ihrer Mobilität eingeschränkten Personen sind bereits Transportvorrichtungen verschiedenster Art bekannt geworden, mit welchen derartige Personen sich fortbewegen können. Neben Rollstühlen, die per Muskelkraft angetrieben werden müssen, existieren auch bereits elektrisch angetriebene, mit einfachen Mitteln steuer- und lenkbare Rollstuhlvorrichtungen, die das Fortbewegen von behinderten Personen nicht nur im öffentlichen Raum wie beispielsweise auf Straßen, Gehsteigen und dergleichen erleich- tern, sondern vor allem auch in der Wohnung. Die Mobilität von Personen wird durch derartige Einrichtungen erheblich verbessert.
Zur Erleichterung verschiedener Tätigkeiten im Haushalt exis- tieren weiters Roboter, die, mit entsprechenden Anwendungsmodulen ausgestattet, gewisse vorbestimmte Tätigkeiten selbständig ausführen können. In diesem Zusammenhang sei beispielsweise auf Staubsaugroboter hingewiesen. In der Regel ist für jede Anwendung bzw. für die Mobilität jedes Objekts ein eigener Roboter erforderlich, sodass insgesamt für die vollständige Automatisierung einer Reihe von Tätigkeiten bzw. für das Bewegen von Personen, Objekten und gegebenenfalls Informationen jeweils separate Robotervorrichtungen erforderlich sind.
Die vorliegende Erfindung zielt darauf ab, eine Mobilitätshilfe zu schaffen, die vielfältig einsetzbar ist, in einfacher Art und Weise an verschiedene Anwendungen angepasst werden kann und die möglichst billig sowohl in der Anschaffung als auch im Betrieb ist. Dabei soll insbesondere ein modulares Set von Hilfsmitteln (Anwendungsmodulen) bereitgestellt werden, die entsprechend den Benutzeranforderungen frei kombinierbar sind.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe umfasst die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zum Bereitstellen und/oder Transportieren von An- Wendungsmodulen für behinderte Menschen einen verfahr- und lenkbaren Roboter mit einer Plattform und einer Vorrichtung zum automatischen Andocken des jeweiligen Anwendungsmoduls an die
Plattform. Hierbei ist die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zum automatischen Andocken von Anwendungsmodulen an die Plattform des verfahr- und lenkbaren Roboters dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Mittel zur automatischen Positionierung des Roboters, insbesondere der Roboterplattform, unterhalb des Anwendungsmoduls, zum Anheben und Absenken der Plattform und zum lösbaren formschlüssigen und elektrischen Verbinden der Plattform mit dem jeweiligen Anwendungsmodul vorgesehen sind, sodass das jeweilige Anwendungsmodul angehoben und verfahren werden kann. Als Anwendungsmodule werden im Zusammenhang mit der vorliegenden Erfindung insbesondere selbständige Einheiten verstanden, die der betagten oder behinderten Person eine Transportmöglichkeit oder eine bestimmte Anwendung zur Verfügung stellt. Beispielsweise kann ein derartiges Anwendungsmodul als Sitz ausgebildet sein, wobei durch Ankoppeln bzw. Andocken an die Plattform des Roboters die Funktion eines Rollstuhls zur Verfügung gesellt werden kann. Ein Anwendungsmodul kann beispielsweise auch einen Roboterarm tragen, sodass durch Andocken an die Plattform des Roboters eine verfahrbare Mani- pulationshilfe geschaffen werden kann. Der Roboterarm kann hierbei an einem separaten Anwendungsmodul angebracht sein oder als zusätzliche Einheit auf einem Anwendungsmodul vorgesehen sein, das bereits eine andere Funktion besitzt, wie beispielsweise die der zur Verfügungsstellung eines Rollstuhls.
Um die Austauschbarkeit der einzelnen Anwendungsmodule in einfacher Weise zu ermöglichen, ist erfindungsgemäß hierbei vorgesehen, dass der Roboter und insbesondere die Roboterplattform unter das jeweilige Anwendungsmodul verfahren werden kann und dass Mittel zum Anheben und Absenken der Plattform und zum lösbaren, formschlüssigen und elektrischen Verbinden der Plattform mit dem jeweiligen Anwendungsmodul vorgesehen sind, sodass nach Herstellen der formschlüssigen und elektrischen Verbindung das jeweilige Anwendungsmodul angehoben und ent- sprechend einprogrammierter oder durch den Anwender vorgegebener Steuerbefehle verfahren werden kann und gegebenenfalls zusätzliche Funktionen ausgeführt werden. Durch den erfindungs-
gemäßen Andockmechanismus, welcher ein Andocken durch einfaches Unterfahren und Anheben des Anwendungsmoduls ermöglicht, kann mit einem einzigen Roboter, der üblicherweise die kostenintensivste Anschaffung bei einer Mobilitätshilfe darstellt, das Auslangen gefunden werden, wobei je nach Bedarf das geeignete Anwendungsmodul an den Roboter angedockt werden kann.
Um eine vollständige Automatisierung des Andockvorgangs zu ermöglichen, ist gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausbildung im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung vorgesehen, dass das Anwendungsmodul charakteristische Strukturen trägt und der Roboter Sensoren zur Erkennung der Strukturen aufweist, wobei die Sensoren mit einer Steuervorrichtung zusammenwirken, sodass der Roboter, insbesondere die Plattform, an eine definierte Position unterhalb des Anwendungsmoduls gefahren werden kann, in welcher die Verbindungsmittel der Plattform und des Anwendungsmoduls miteinander fluchten. Bei einer derartigen Ausbildung kann der Roboter aufgrund der Erkennung der am Anwendungsmodul angebrachten charakteristischen Strukturen eine automatische Posi- tionierung derart vornehmen, dass die entsprechenden Verbindungsmittel der Plattform und des Anwendungsmoduls in eine miteinander fluchtende Lage gebracht werden, sodass nach Einnehmen dieser Position lediglich ein Anheben der Plattform samt der daran angebrachten Verbindungsmittel erforderlich ist, um die Verbindungsmittel in Wirkverbindung zu bringen. Zur besseren Erkennbarkeit der charakteristischen Strukturen sind diese bevorzugt an der der Plattform zugewandten Seite des Anwendungsmoduls ausgebildet. Weiters ist bevorzugt vorgesehen, dass die Sensoren zur berührungslosen Erkennung der Strukturen ausgebildet sind, um die andernfalls im Zusammenhang mit mechanischen Ausrichtungssystemen auftretenden Probleme hinsichtlich einer Abnützung und eines Verschleißes zu vermeiden. Berührungslos arbeitende Positionierungs- und Ausrichtungssysteme sind in der Robotik Stand der Technik und bedürfen daher an dieser Stelle keiner weitergehenden Erläuterung.
Wie bereits erwähnt, soll beim bzw. nach dem Anheben der Plattform eine lösbare formschlüssige Verbindung zwischen dem Roboter bzw. der Plattform des Roboters und dem jeweiligen Anwendungsmodul hergestellt werden, zu welchem Zweck die Ausbil- düng mit Vorteil derart weitergebildet ist, dass die Mittel zum formschlüssigen Verbinden der Plattform mit dem Anwendungsmodul von Bolzen gebildet sind, die beim Anheben der Plattform in entsprechende Ausnehmungen des Anwendungsmoduls formschlüssig eingreifen. Ein derartiger Formschluss sichert das jeweilige Anwendungsmodul in einfacher Weise gegen Kippen und Verschieben, wobei ohne zusätzliche mechanische Verriegelungen und zusätzliche Betätigungsvorrichtungen das Auslangen gefunden werden kann. Natürlich können jedoch auch zusätzliche Verriegelungseinrichtungen vorgesehen werden, mit welchen das An- wendungsmodul auf der Roboterplattform zusätzlich festgelegt werden kann.
Zur Korrektur von kleinen Ausrichtungsfehlern können die Bolzen ein konisch ausgebildetes Ende aufweisen, sodass beim Ein- dringen der Bolzen in die entsprechenden Ausnehmungen beim Anheben der Plattform im Falle einer nicht ganz mittigen Positionierung der Bolzen eine automatische Korrekturbewegung durch Entlanggleiten der Ränder der Ausnehmungen an den konisch sich erweiterten Bolzenenden vorgenommen werden kann.
Um nicht nur ein formschlüssiges sondern auch ein elektrisches Verbinden der Plattform mit dem Anwendungsmodul in einfacher Weise zu erzielen, ist gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausbildung vorgesehen, dass die Mittel zum elektrischen Verbinden der Plattform mit dem Anwendungsmodul einen Stecker mit einer Mehrzahl von Kontaktstiften und einen Gegenstecker mit einer Mehrzahl von Gegenkontakten aufweist, wobei bevorzugt eine erste Gruppe von Kontaktstiften der Stromversorgung des Anwendungsmoduls und eine zweite Gruppe von Kontaktstiften einer Datenverbindung dient. Um bei einer derartigen Ausbildung die Kontaktstifte vor Beschädigung zu schützen, können bevorzugt Mittel zum wahlweisen Abdecken oder Freigeben der Enden der
Kontaktstifte vorgesehen sein, wobei insbesondere die Enden der Kontaktstifte mit Vorteil in Bohrungen eines Schutzblockes aufgenommen sind und der Schutzblock gegen Ende der Hubbewegung der Plattform zum Anwendungsmodul mit einem Anschlag zusammen- wirkt, sodass der Schutzblock zurückgeschoben wird und die Enden der Kontaktstifte freigegeben werden.
Durch die Möglichkeit, eine elektrische Verbindung zwischen dem Anwendungsmodul und dem Roboter herzustellen, können beispiels- weise Steuerbefehle zwischen dem Roboter und der Anwendungsplattform ausgetauscht werden, wobei in diesem Zusammenhang vorgesehen sein kann, dass das Anwendungsmodul ein Steuermodul aufweist, das elektrisch mit der Robotersteuerung verbindbar ist, sodass mit Hilfe eines an dem Anwendungsmodul angebrachten Steuerknüppels der Antrieb und die Lenkbewegung eines Roboters kontrolliert werden können.
Um das Unterfahren des Anwendungsmoduls durch den Roboter zu erleichtern, ist gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausbildung vorgesehen, dass das Anwendungsmodul ein Gestell aufweist, dessen Breite die Breite des Roboters übersteigt.
Insgesamt wird mit der vorliegenden Erfindung eine Mobilitätshilfe geschaffen, bei welcher einzelne Anwendungsmodule in einfacher Art und Weise an eine verfahr- und lenkbare Roboterplattform angekoppelt werden können. Die Mobilitätshilfe kann hierbei mit adäquaten SensorSystemen ausgerüstet sein, um die Navigation beispielsweise im Wohnbereich zu ermöglichen. Derartige SensorSysteme sind dem Fachmann bekannt und müssen daher im einzelnen nicht näher erläutert werden. Sensoren können hierbei in konventioneller Weise am Roboter selbst und/oder an dem jeweiligen Anwendungsmodul vorgesehen sein, wobei im Fall, dass einzelne Sensoren am Anwendungsmodul angebracht sind, die elektrische Verbindung des Anwendungsmo- duls mit der Roboterplattform für die entsprechende Weiterleitung der Sensorinformationen an die zentrale Robotersteuerung sorgt.
Um die Mobilitätshilfe für alte und behinderte Personen bedienbar zu machen, kann die Mobilitätshilfe mit einer intuitiven, selbstadaptierenden Benutzerschnittstelle ausgestattet sein. Weiter ist es denkbar, das System in sogenannte „intelligente Hausinstallationen" zu integrieren.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand eines in der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. In diesem zeigen Fig. 1 eine Frontansicht eines Roboters mit eingefahrener Plattform, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Roboters mit eingefahrener Plattform, Fig. 3 eine Frontansicht des Roboters mit angehobener Plattform sowie Fig. 4 eine Seitenansicht des Roboters mit angehobener Plattform. Fig. 5 zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer Plattform in einer Ansicht von unten und Fig. 6 ist eine Frontansicht der Plattform gemäß Fig. 5. Fig. 7 zeigt eine Ansicht von oben auf den Roboter, Fig. 8 zeigt die Unterseite einer abgewandelten Ausbildung einer Roboterplattform und Fig. 9 eine perspektivische Ansicht des Roboters mit angehobener Plattform.
In Fig. 1 ist ein verfahrbarer Roboter 1 dargestellt, wobei die angetriebenen Räder mit 2f die vorderen nicht angetriebenen Stützräder mit 3 und die hinteren nicht angetriebenen Stütz- räder mit 4 bezeichnet sind. Die Plattform zum Anheben der Module wird in der dargestellten Ausführungsform von zwei anhebbaren Schienen 5 gebildet. Die Schalter zur Erkennung der Position der Plattform relativ zum Roboter 1 sind mit 6 bezeichnet. Die Räder 2 werden durch zwei getrennte Motoren 7 angetrieben, um auch eine Drehung am Stand zu ermöglichen. Zu diesem Zweck sind die vorderen und hinteren Stützräder 3 bzw. 4 um eine normal auf den Boden stehende strichliert angedeutete Achse 8 schwenkbar. Zum Heben und Senken der Plattform sind nicht näher dargestellte Hubsysteme, wie z.B. Elektro-Hub- spindel, vorgesehen. In den Figuren 2 bis 4 wurden für die gleichen Bauteile die gleichen Bezugszeichen verwendet.
In der Abbildung nach Fig. 5, in der die Unterseite eines Anwendungsmodules 9 schematisch dargestellt ist, wobei der obere Teil der Vorderseite des Roboters zugewandt ist und der untere Teil der hinteren Seite des Roboters zugewandt ist, ist mit 10 der Stecker zum elektrischen Verbinden des Anwendungsmoduls 9 mit dem Roboter 1 bezeichnet. Die Bolzen zur lösbaren formschlüssigen Verbindung zwischen dem Anwendungsmodul und dem Roboter 1 sind mit 11 bezeichnet.
In der Frontansicht der Basis des Anwendungsmoduls 9 nach Fig. 6 sind wiederum die Bolzen mit 11 bezeichnet und die Auflagefläche der Basis des Anwendungsmoduls 9 auf den zwei Trägerschienen 5 ist mit 12 bezeichnet.
In der Aufsicht auf den Roboter gemäß Fig. 7 ist mit 13 das Gegenstück des Steckers 10 des Anwendungsmoduls 9 ersichtlich.
Fig. 8 zeigt die Unterseite einer abgewandelten Ausbildung der Basis des Anwendungsmoduls 9, wobei anstelle der Bolzen 11 sich konisch nach oben verjüngende Eingriffslöcher 14 vorgesehen sind. Mit 10 sind hier zwei Stecker zum elektrischen Verbinden des Anwendungsmodules an den Roboter zu sehen, sodass dieses Anwendungsmodul von zwei Seiten angefahren werden kann.
In der perspektivischen Ansicht nach Fig. 9 sind die sich noch oben konisch verjüngenden Eingriffsglieder, welche in die Eingriffslöcher 14 der Basis des Anwendungsmoduls 9 eingreifen können, mit 15 bezeichnet. Mit 16 sind die Hubsysteme bezeichnet, welche die Plattform 17 heben und senken können.
Claims
1. Vorrichtung zum automatischen Andocken von Anwendungsmodulen an eine Plattform eines verfahr- und lenkbaren Roboters, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Mittel zur automatischen Positionierung des Roboters (l)r insbesondere der Roboterplattform, unterhalb des Anwendungsmoduls (9), zum Anheben und Absenken der Plattform (17) und zum lösbaren formschlüssigen und elektrischen Verbinden der Plattform (17) mit dem je- weiligen Anwendungsmodul (9) vorgesehen sind, sodass das jeweilige Anwendungsmodul (9) angehoben und verfahren werden kann.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Anwendungsmodul (9) charakteristische Strukturen trägt und der Roboter (1) Sensoren zur Erkennung der Strukturen aufweist, wobei die Sensoren mit einer Steuervorrichtung zusammenwirken, sodass der Roboter (1), insbesondere die Plattform (17), an eine definierte Position unterhalb des Anwendungsmoduls (9) verfahren werden kann, in welcher die Verbindungsmittel der Plattform (17) und des Anwendungsmoduls (9) miteinander fluchten.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2 , dadurch gekennzeich- net, dass die charakteristischen Strukturen an der der Plattform (17) zugewandten Seite des Anwendungsmoduls (9) ausgebildet sind.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 , 2 oder 3 , dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, dass die Sensoren zur berührungslosen Erkennung der
Strukturen ausgebildet sind.
5. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel zum formschlüssigen Verbinden der Plattform (17) mit dem Anwendungsmodul (9) von Bolzen (11) gebildet sind, die beim Anheben der Plattform (17) in entspre- chende Ausnehmungen des Anwendungsmoduls (9) formschlüssig eingreifen.
6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bolzen (11) ein konisch ausgebildetes Ende aufweisen.
7. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel zum elektrischen Verbinden der Plattform (17) mit dem Anwendungsmodul (9) einen Stecker (10) mit einer Mehrzahl von Kontaktstiften und einen Gegenstecker (13) mit einer Mehrzahl von Gegenkontakten aufweist.
8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine erste Gruppe von Kontaktstiften der Stromversorgung des Anwendungsmoduls (9) und eine zweite Gruppe von Kontaktstiften einer Datenverbindung dient.
9. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Mittel zum wahlweisen Abdecken oder Freigeben der Enden der Kontaktstifte vorgesehen sind.
10. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Enden der Kontaktstifte in Bohrungen eines Schutzblockes aufgenommen sind und der Schutzblock gegen Ende der Hubbewegung der Plattform (17) zum Anwendungsmo&ül (9) mit einem Anschlag zusammenwirkt, sodass der Schutzblock zurückgeschoben wird und die Enden der Kontaktstifte freigegeben werden.
11. Vorrichtung zum Bereitstellen und/oder Transportieren von Anwendungsmodulen (9) für behinderte Menschen umfassend einen verfahr- und lenkbaren Roboter (1) mit einer Plattform (17) und einer Vorrichtung zum automatischen Andocken des jeweiligen Anwendungsmoduls (9) an die Plattform (17), insbesondere nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10.
12. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Anwendungsmodul (9) ein Steuermodul aufweist, das elektrisch mit der Robotersteuerung verbindbar ist.
13. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 11 oder 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Anwendungsmodul (9) ein Gestell aufweist, dessen Breite die Breite des Roboters (1) übersteigt.
14. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 11, 12 oder 13, dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, dass das Anwendungsmodul (9) als Sitz ausgebildet ist.
15. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Anwendungsmodul (9) einen Roboterarm trägt.
16. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Empfänger zum drahtlosen Empfangen von Steuerbefehlen vorgesehen ist.
17. Verwendung eines verfahr- und lenkbaren Roboters (1) umfassend eine Plattform (17) und eine Andockvorrichtung zum Andocken von Anwendungsmodulen ( 9 ) , insbesondere nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, zum Bereitstellen und/oder Transportieren von Anwendungsmodulen (9) für behinderte Menschen.
18. Verwendung nach Anspruch 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Anwendungsmodul ( 9 ) ein Stuhl für behinderte Menschen bereitgestellt und/oder transportiert wird.
19. Verwendung nach Anspruch 17 oder 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Anwendungsmodul (9) ein Roboterarm bereitgestellt und/oder transportiert wird.
