Abstract

 主被写体に対して非合焦な撮影画像を取得する確率を低下させることが可能な撮像装置を提供することを目的とする。撮像装置1Aは、撮影光学系から入射される被写体像に関する撮影画像を取得する2枚の撮像素子5,7と、撮影画像における主被写体を検出する主被写体検出部122と、撮影領域に設定された測距エリアから取得される位相差検出信号に基づいて合焦制御を行う位相差AF制御部121と、測距エリアに主被写体が存在するか否かを判定する判定部123と、判定部123によって測距エリアに主被写体が存在しないと判定された場合は、主被写体への非合焦状態を回避する所定の制御を行う警告制御部126とを備える。
