Claims (1)
- 撮影光学系を介して入射される光束を受光して光電変換する撮像手段で生成された信号に基づく画像を表示手段に表示する表示制御装置の制御方法であって、
前記撮像手段の受光領域に設定された焦点検出領域から出力される一対の像信号に基づいて、焦点状態を検出する焦点検出工程と、
前記焦点検出工程で検出された前記焦点状態に基づく指標を前記画像に重畳して表示手段に表示する表示制御工程と、
指定手段を介した前記焦点検出領域の位置を指定する操作を受け付ける受け付け工程と、を有し、
前記表示制御工程において、前記指定手段を介して指定された前記焦点検出領域の位置の変化量に応じて、前記指標の表示を変更することを特徴とする制御方法。
