Abstract

　低背型コネクタにおいて、バリ等の発生を抑制することができるコネクタ用ソケット及びヘッダを提供する。 コネクタ（１）用のソケット（１０）において、ソケットボディ（１１）をソケットボディ基部（１２）とソケットボディ固着部（１３）とに分けて成形する。ソケットボディ基部（１２）は予め高い射出圧力で溶融樹脂を射出して成形しておく。ソケットボディ基部（１２）をソケットコンタクト（３０）と共に金型内で位置決め配置し、低い射出圧力で溶融樹脂を射出してソケットボディ固着部（１３）を成形する。このようにソケット（１０）の成形を２回に分けて行うことにより、ソケットコンタクト（３０）をインサート成形した場合であってもバリ等の発生が抑えられる。ヘッダ（４０）も同様に、予め高い射出圧力でヘッダボディ基部（４２）を成形しておき、ヘッダコンタクト（６０）と共にヘッダボディ固着部（４３）をインサート成形する。
