It is preferable that the rotating drum 211 have a guide groove (not shown) on the surface thereof to receive a section of the special thread S therein and function to prevent the thread S from being separated from a location at which spines are formed on the thread.
  • the rotating drum driving mechanism 212 may be constituted as a stepping motor or a turbo motor which can control a rotating angle of the rotating drum 211.

  • the blade transporting mechanism 330 includes a pneumatic cylinder 331 with a piston rod fixed at both ends and a cylinder body capable of straight performing reciprocation in both opposing directions and a blade which is fixed to the cylinder body of the pneumatic cylinder 331 so as to rotatably fix the blade 310.
  • the blade transporting mechanism 330 is not limited to the above-described structure but may be of any known structure as long as it can reciprocate the blade 310 in a straight manner.
  • the special thread cutting device 400 includes a guide pipe 410 through which the special thread S, on which the spines are formed by the spine forming device 300 and which is transported by the special thread transporting device 200, passes, a cutting blade 420 which cuts the special thread S discharged from the guide pipe 410 at a predetermined length, and a cutting blade transporting mechanism 430 which reciprocates the cutting blade 420 in a straight manner. It is preferable that the inside surface of the guide pipe 410 be processed to be smooth and slippery in order to prevent the special thread S from being damaged by friction between the inside surface and the special thread S.
  • the cutting blade 420 is a no drive mode blade, and the cutting blade transporting mechanism 430 is constituted as a pneumatic cylinder.

  • the blade 310 of the spine forming device 300 which is rotated by the rotating drum driving mechanism 212 alternately is moved forward and backward by the blade transporting mechanism 330, and thus forms spines on the surface of the special thread S by cutting some portion of the surface of the special thread S at regular intervals in a lengthwise direction.

Accordingly, the special thread manufacturing equipment can be simplified and the work of forming spines on the surface of the special thread S is automatically performed. Accordingly, productivity is remarkably increased.
