Abstract

【課題】　パワーアンプ回路を備えたオーディオ装置において、過熱時に、パワーアンプ回路に入力されるオーディオ信号の信号レベルを制限することで、過熱を抑制すると共に、このレベル制限時に、聴取者に対して不快感を与えることのないようにする。 【解決手段】　パワーアンプ回路（１８）が過熱されて、これを冷却するためのヒートシンクの温度Ｔが第１基準温度Ｔ１を超えると、パワーアンプ回路（１８）の前段に設けられたＶＣＡ回路（１４）のゲインＧが最大ゲインＧ１から初期制限ゲインＧ２に低減される。ゲインＧは、時間Ｄを掛けて連続的に低減される。ヒートシンクの温度Ｔが第２基準温度Ｔ２を超えると、ゲインＧがさらに制限される。このときも、ゲインＧは連続的に制限される。ヒートシンクの温度Ｔが第３基準温度Ｔ３を超えると、パワーアンプ回路（１８）へのオーディオ信号の入力が遮断される。
