Abstract

　パターンドメディア方式の磁気記録媒体３０を持つ磁気記録装置１において，非磁性体で分断された磁性体の中心で正確な記録を行うことを可能にするため，コイル両端電圧測定回路２によって，磁気ヘッド１０の記録素子にＤＣ電流を印加したときの磁界発生コイルの両端の電圧を測定する。この測定電圧から，電圧変化検出回路３により，パターンドメディアにおける磁性体部，非磁性体部を磁気ヘッド１０が通過した時のコイルインダクタンスの変化を検出し，クロック信号生成回路４によって，コイルインダクタンスの変化に同期したライトクロック信号を生成する。
