Definitions
- the present invention relates to one or more orally ingestible dietary supplements.
- the cleaning of the skin serves to remove dirt, sweat and residues of dead skin particles, which form an ideal breeding ground for - Pathogens and parasites of all kinds.
- Skin care products are usually used to moisten and restore the skin. Often, agents that regenerate the skin and, for example, prevent and reduce their premature aging (e.g., wrinkles, wrinkles) are added to them.
- the skin is exposed to ever-changing environmental conditions and is subject to a number of changes over time.
- changes in barrier properties, skin-elasticity and elasticity, pigmentation and, in particular, as a result of exogenous influences also lead to different inflammatory reactions and, for example, to subsequent reactions of the skin to the action of UV radiation.
- the barrier effect of the skin can be quantified by determining transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It is the evaporation of water from the inside of the body without the inclusion of water loss during sweating.
- TEWL transepidermal water loss
- the determination of the TEWL value has proven to be extraordinarily informative and can be used for the diagnosis of chapped or chapped skin, for the determination of the compatibility of chemically different surfactants and the like.
- Cosmetic skin care is to be understood in the first place that the natural function of the skin as a barrier against environmental influences, e.g. Dirt, chemicals, microorganisms, and against the loss of endogenous substances, e.g. Water, natural fats, electrolytes, fortified or restored.
- environmental influences e.g. Dirt, chemicals, microorganisms
- endogenous substances e.g. Water, natural fats, electrolytes, fortified or restored.
- Nah ⁇ ingser soleungsmittel If this function is disturbed, it may lead to increased absorption of toxic or allergenic substances or the infestation of microorganisms and as a result to toxic or allergic skin reactions.
- Cellulite (medical term: dermopanniculosis) is not a disease but a cosmetic problem.
- the causes of cellulite are mainly due to the specific structure of the female skin and the response to the female hormones.
- Fat cells are stored in the subcutaneous tissue. Their amount is already determined in the infant stage and can not be influenced by diet or exercise. In the fat cells, the fatty acids from the diet are converted into fats and embedded into the connective tissue like nodules.
- the cells can expand many times their size. The enlarged cells then push through the connective tissue and it comes to the dreaded orange peel, also known as cellulite.
- Nutritional supplements known as "cosmetics from the inside” are known for skin care and beautification, and for the health and beauty of the skin, the nutrition and supply of nutrients from the inside is of crucial importance.A lack of micronutrients, albeit very rare, can Vitamins and minerals have a positive effect on the appearance of the skin In recent years, people's health awareness has increased significantly and the consumption of dietary supplements has steadily increased. The “German Nutrition Survey” in Germany found that 43% of subjects, including 43.1% women and 37.8% men, regularly consume dietary supplements (Beitz et al., 2004). MultiVitamin preparations, especially vitamin C supplements, are in the foreground.
- WO 2006023342, EP1711070, EP1218001, WO2006076240, EP1729851, EP0950410, EP 0731699, EP 0579901 or EP1605764 disclose nutritional supplements which are also used, inter alia, against the phenomena of cellulite.
- the invention consists of one or more nutritional supplements comprising at least two cosmetically active ingredients selected from the group of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), safflower extract, L-carnitine and / or their derivatives, mate extract (Hex Paraguahensis), caffeine, tea extracts (herbal tea , Camelia Sinensis, etc.), vitamin E, ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10), pantothenic acid, B vitamins, biotin, amino acid and / or their derivatives and / or folic acid.
- CLA conjugated linoleic acid

- camitin or its derivatives in particular L-carnitine tartrate, to be selected in combination with conjugated linoleic acid and / or mate tea extract.
- all three active ingredients are included in the dietary supplement.
- L-form of carnitine is widely distributed in animal tissues and is a characteristic component of the striped musculature v. a in dark meats.
- L-carnitine is only present in small amounts ( ⁇ 4 mg / 100 g).
- the total amount of L-carnitine in the human body is about 20-25 g. In heart and skeletal muscle, 98% of the reserves are stored.
- L-carnitine acts as a carrier molecule in the transport of long-chain fatty acids through the inner mitochondrial membrane into the mitochondrial matrix space, while medium and short-chain fatty acids can also pass without esterification with L-camitine.
- L-carnitine is available in many nutritional supplements. Target groups are (endurance) athletes as well as obese persons who are offered L-carnitine for performance enhancement or as a slimming product ("fat burner"). The effectiveness is very controversial in both cases. Since in healthy people an L-carnitine deficiency is very rare, is one of
- Carnitine supplementation is not expected to benefit.
- Carnitine is at its biochemical
- Carnitine intake does not increase fatty acid oxidation. An excess of carnitine is excreted through the kidney again.
- L-carnitine can improve cardiac output and overall cardiac resilience by increasing beta-oxidation of fatty acids, increasing ATP levels, reducing blood and tissue fat levels (free fatty acids), and increasing blood flow to the heart increase.
- L-carnitine is attributed to a certain immune-stimulating function, which is attributed to an increase in the activity of granulocytes, T-lymphocytes and killer cells.
- a dietary supplement comprising carnitine and another active ingredient to be selected from the group according to the invention has a positive effect on the reduction of cellulite.
- the lymph circulation is stimulated.
- the agent according to the invention is therefore suitable for the care of skin areas affected by cellulite.
- Safflower extract (safflower oil) is an extract or oil with high content of linoleic acid. This polyunsaturated fatty acid protects the skin from dehydration.
- conjugated linoleic acids are a fatty acid group with eight geometric isomers, of which certain isomers are found particularly in meat and dairy products of ruminants ,
- the 9,11-isomer (cis9, transi 1 - intermediate of the hydrogenation of polyunsaturated fatty acids in ruminal rumen) contributes especially to the growth of muscles.
- the 10,12 isomer prevents lipogenesis
- conjugated linoleic acid obtained from the oil of the safflower or other vegetable oils or their derivatives, in particular as triglyceride.
- the mate shrub (Hex paraguariensis) grows wild as undergrowth in the araucaria forests of Brazil, Brazil and Paraguay, on the highlands between the rivers Paranä, Paraguay, Brazil and their tributaries, so its home is the Paraná valley primeval forest. Even today, however, about half of the mate on the market is harvested from wild trees.
- Mate is an infusion drink widely used in South America, which is obtained by infusing finely chopped dry leaves of Hex paraguayensis.
- Mate originally called the drinking vessel (from the Quechua mati for drinking vessel), nowadays also the drink, which was called by the Guarani caiguä.
- the leaves however, are called yerba (span .: herb).
- Mate is often associated with the gaucho tradition, but was actually drunk by the indigenous peoples of South America before colonization, and in South America, other infusions are sometimes referred to as mate, such as mate de coca, prepared from the leaves of coca smoke ,
- the fresh leaves are 0.35 to 1, 7% caffeine, about 0.1 to 0.2% theobromine, theophylline and 4 to 16% tannins.
- the infusion is yellowish green and contains caffeine, theobromine, chlorophyll, tannic acid, essential oil and vanillin depending on the strength.
- Vitamins contain vitamins A, B1, B2 and C.
- the aroma of green and roasted Mates was separated by gas chromatography and analyzed by mass spectrometry, with more than 250 components identifying about 200. In descending order, ketones, aldehydes and aliphatic alcohols, heterocyclic compounds, carboxylic acids and lactones, terpene alcohols, furanones, phenols, aromatic compounds, pyrazines and pyrroles were detected. Pyrroles, pyrazines and furanones are formed mainly during the Maillard reaction during the roasting process.
- Pantothenic acid belongs to the vitamins of the B-complex.
- pantothenic acid is slightly soluble in water and heat sensitive.
- pantothenic acid is usually present in bound form as part of coenzyme A. It can not be stored in the body, so it must be taken daily with the food.
- Pantothenic acid is mainly involved in enzymatic reactions in metabolic processes. In cell metabolism, it serves to generate energy. In addition, it helps to build various neurotransmitters, fatty acids, carbohydrates, cholesterol, hemoglobin and vitamins A and D.
- Pantothenic acid is present in many plant and animal foods. Liver, whole grains and eggs are high in content.

Description
Ermel, Hartmann, Nahrungserganzungsmittel
