Abstract

 還元反応領域および酸化反応領域を備えた湿式反応器内を循環する還元剤水溶液とアルカリ水溶液との混液のpHの低下とORPの上昇を抑制し、該混合水溶液の劣化を防止でき、長時間にわたり連続運転可能な排気ガスの処理方法および処理装置を提供する。  湿式反応器内を循環すべき還元剤水溶液とアルカリ水溶液との混合水溶液のORPおよびpHを測定し、該混合水溶液のORPおよびpHを所定の範囲に保つように、新鮮な還元剤水溶液およびアルカリ水溶液を、湿式反応器の下部に設けられた貯留部へ必要に応じて補充することにより、上記の課題を解決する。
