Abstract

複数のカメラからの映像を一つの画面内に複数画面で表示する場合、撮影画角などを制御する制御対象となるカメラの映像の品質を他と比べて高くすることで、カメラ制御時の操作性を向上する。複数台のカメラ装置から配信される映像データをクライアントが受信し、複数の映像をディスプレイ装置にマルチ画面で表示する。この際、パン・チルト等の制御対象となるカメラ装置から配信される映像データの受信レートを上げるとともに、他のカメラ装置から配信される映像データの受信レートを下げることで、制御対象のカメラ装置による撮像映像を表示する分割画面のフレームレートを他のカメラ装置のフレームレートより高くし、カメラ制御中の映像を明瞭に視認可能にする。
