Abstract

 モータケースに固定子を焼き嵌めする際における焼き嵌め不良の発生を防止できる電動圧縮機を提供する。底面(79)から開口部(85)に向かって中心軸線(C)から離れる傾斜を有する円筒の内周面に、第1内周部(101)と、第1内周部(101)よりも半径が大きな第2内周部(103)とが形成された筐体(67)と、流体を圧縮する圧縮部と、圧縮部を回転駆動する回転子および固定子と、が設けられ、第1内周部(101)および第2内周部(103)には、第2内周部(103)よりも半径が大きく、固定子が挿入される略円筒状の挿入面(105)が設けられ、少なくとも第1内周部(101)には、挿入面(105)よりも半径が大きく、挿入面(105)における開口部(85)側の端部から開口部(85)までの距離を略同一にそろえる拡径部(109)が設けられたことを特徴とする。
