L'invention concerne un dispositif d'escamotage, en particulier pour éléments coulissants, tiroirs ou portes coulissantes, dispositif comprenant un boîtier logeant un élément amortisseur, l'élément amortisseur présentant une tige de piston, laquelle reçoit un piston guidé mobile à l'intérieur d'un cylindre amortisseur, ledit boîtier recevant un élément d'accouplement qui est déplaçable dans une coulisse de guidage du boîtier, entre une position rétractée et une position déployée, un ressort de tension associé à l'élément d'accouplement sollicitant, en position déployée, ledit élément d'accouplement en direction de la position rétractée. Dans le but d'obtenir, dans un tel dispositif d'escamotage, un guidage stable de l'élément d'accouplement, avec une faible dépense en termes de construction, l'invention est caractérisée en ce que la tige de piston est raccordée directement à l'élément d'accouplement au moyen d'un palier pivotant.
