Abstract

 本発明は、移動局の消費電力を低減可能とし、ネットワークの負荷の増大を抑止可能とするDRX制御方法、システムを提供する。ソース基地局はターゲット基地局へ、基地局間ハンドオーバーを行う移動局の活動レベルを制御するための情報であるドーマンシ・コンテキスト(Dormancy Context)を転送し、ターゲット基地局は、移動局はハンドオーバーを完了した直後に、Dormancy Contextを用いて、移動局のDRX制御を行う。
