Abstract

L'invention concerne une brosse de traitement de surface construite de façon simple qui permet d'appliquer un traitement de surface uniforme à un objet ayant des irrégularités et dans laquelle on économise une matière. Un grand nombre de corps de brosse (58) sont disposés de façon intermittente sur la surface d'un rouleau (56) d'une brosse rotative (50A). Des rainures (56A) et des crêtes (56B) sensiblement en forme de bague, qui sont inclinées par rapport à la direction de l'axe du rouleau (56), sont formées sur le rouleau (56). Les corps de brosse (58) sont formés par la fixation de pièces de type bande de papier abrasif par des cordes à des rainures (56C) formées dans les rainures (56A). Les faces latérales de chaque rainure (56A) jouent le rôle de brides pour maintenir la base de chaque pièce de papier abrasif. En raison du fait que les corps de brosse inclinés (58) sont disposés de façon intermittente, un traitement de surface uniforme peut être appliqué à un objet ayant des irrégularités sans disposer les corps de brosse (58) sur la surface entière du rouleau (56). Ceci permet un remplacement partiel des corps de brosse (58) pour économiser la matière.
