Abstract

略4角形の形状を有する高分子電解質膜(1)と、高分子電解質膜(1)の一方の主面(F10)に該高分子電解質膜(1)の隅で略直角に屈曲し、かつ、該隅を挟む辺に沿って延びるように配置された膜状の第1膜補強部材(10a)と、高分子電解質膜(1)の他方の主面(F20)に該高分子電解質膜(1)の隅で略直角に屈曲し、かつ、該隅を挟む辺に沿って延びるように配置された膜状の第2膜補強部材(10b)と、を備え、第1膜補強部材(10a)と第2膜補強部材(10b)とは、全体として高分子電解質膜(1)の4辺に沿って延在するように配置されている、膜-膜補強部材接合体。
