Abstract

 自家蛍光の影響を抑制して、蛍光プローブから発せられる蛍光による鮮明な蛍光画像により、癌細胞等の異常組織を正確かつ明瞭に判別することを可能とする。生体組織に付着または吸収させた蛍光色素からの蛍光を観察する蛍光内視鏡システム(1)であって、蛍光色素を励起する励起光を射出する励起光源(4)と、該励起光源(4)からの励起光を照射したときに生体組織から発せられる蛍光を撮影する撮像部(3)と、励起光を照射したときに生体組織から発せられる自家蛍光の信号強度を設定する自家蛍光信号設定部(5)と、撮像部(3)により取得された蛍光画像情報を、自家蛍光信号設定部(5)により設定された自家蛍光の信号強度に基づいて補償する画像補償部(6)とを備える蛍光内視鏡システム(1)を提供する。
