Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation (10) de fabrication de blocs d'un matériau semiconducteur, comprenant au moins une enceinte (12) contenant une atmosphère de gaz neutre, l'enceinte comprenant un système de fusion (27, 32, 40) adapté à faire fondre le matériau semiconducteur dans un creuset (24); un système de purification (50) adapté à éliminer des impuretés du matériau semiconducteur fondu dans le creuset; un système de transfert thermique (32) adapté à refroidir la base du creuset et un système de chauffage (40) de la surface libre (63) du matériau semiconducteur fondu et purifié dans le creuset de façon à favoriser la solidification du matériau semiconducteur; et un système de déplacement (18) du creuset (24) contenant le matériau semiconducteur fondu et purifié jusqu'au système de chauffage et/ou un système de déplacement du système de chauffage jusqu'au creuset contenant le matériau semiconducteur fondu et purifié.
