  • Each locking arm 19 comprises, as seen in Figure 5, a torsion spring 33 which causes the locking arm 19 to press against the toothed sector 18 of its corresponding swing arm 7.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un appuie-tête pour sièges de véhicules automobiles comprenant un support fixe arrière (3), un support mobile avant (5) pouvant être déplacé par rapport audit support fixe (3) et des moyens d'actionnement permettant de déplacer ledit support mobile (5) d'une position de repos à une position active de l'appuie-tête (1). L'appuie-tête comprend, de plus, au moins un bras basculant (7) relié par une extrémité au support fixe (3) et par l'autre extrémité au support mobile (5), les moyens d'actionnement permettant au bras basculant (7) de pivoter lorsqu'ils sont actionnés, ce pivotement entraînant le déplacement dudit support mobile (5). L'appuie-tête (1) comprend également des moyens de blocage pour empêcher le retour dudit support mobile (5) vers la position de repos lorsque les moyens d'actionnement provoquent le déplacement dudit support mobile (5) sur la position active.
