  • lighting device 8 has the major advantage of coding the operating status of washing machine 1 by means of a predetermined colour, thus enabling the user to determine the current operating condition of washing machine 1 quickly and easily, even at a distance from the machine, simply on the basis of the colour of the light projected onto the drum.

La présente invention concerne une machine à laver (1) comprenant une carrosserie extérieure (2) ; une chambre de lavage (5) abritée à l'intérieur de la carrosserie extérieure (2) ; un tambour de lavage (7) abrité à l'intérieur de la chambre de lavage (5) et qui tourne autour d'un axe de rotation (A) ; et un dispositif d'éclairage (8) situé à l'extérieur de la carrosserie extérieure (2) qui est destiné à éclairer le tambour de lavage (7) et comprend au moins une diode électroluminescente (LED) (9).
