Definitions
- the lid is either loosely placed on the food container and can be hung during the removal of food on the food container, or the food container is firmly connected to a hinge unit which carries the lid, so that it can be swung away guided to access to allow the food.
- the first-mentioned variant is unsatisfactory because the hanging of the lid requires a certain skill, is usually associated with a perceived as disturbing noise and also carries the risk of uncontrolled dripping of condensed water from the lid on the buffet
- the latter variant has the Disadvantage that they are very cost- is intense, since for the management of a buffet ever presented food at least two complete arrangements consisting of food containers with hinge assembly and cover must be present, namely an arrangement which is currently on the buffet, and at least one other arrangement for replacing the on The buffet arrangement, if it has become empty or unappetizing.
- a first aspect of the invention relates to an arrangement for presenting food on a buffet.
- the arrangement according to the invention comprises a container, such as a bowl or a pot, for holding the food, which has an upwardly directed removal opening and a lid for closing the removal opening of the container.
- the arrangement comprises a support structure which movably connects the container and the lid relative to one another such that the lid is guided by the support structure between a non-removal position in which it is centered relative to the container and covers the removal opening of the container, and a removal position, in which it is arranged away from the removal opening, so that the access to the interior of the container is released, can be moved.
- the container is connected to the support structure in such a way that its position in a horizontal plane is determined by the support structure when it is arranged in an orderly manner on a flat horizontal surface and that the container is in the removal position arranged lid without tools, so by hand and without further aids, removed from the support structure and can be coupled to this again. It is thus possible to temporarily remove the container or to replace it with a new container while the lid with the support structure remains on the buffet. The centering of the container relative to the associated, attached to the support structure cover is thereby automatically produced when coupling the container to the support structure.
- the support structure is also designed such that the cover can be held by the support structure in the removal position. As a result, the operator has both hands free for the removal of food.
- the container is also connected to the support structure in such a way that, when the arrangement is raised as intended on the flat horizontal buffet surface, the rotational orientation of the container around a vertical axis is defined by the support structure. This makes it possible to align even non-round containers in a simple manner with the associated lid.
- the container is also connected to the support structure in such a way that when the arrangement is upright on a flat horizontal buffet surface, the vertical position of the container is also determined by the support structure. This results in a well-defined position of the container relative to the support structure and thus also relative to the associated lid.
- connection between the container and the support structure in the region of the underside of the container is formed by protruding form elements formed by the support structure or container in the vertical direction into, from the container or from the support structure formed recessed form elements, so wells, enter.
- the support structure forms the projecting mold elements, while the container provides the corresponding recessed form elements or depressions.
- the underside of the container can be formed as a substantially continuous, flat surface, so that heating of the container outside the arrangement on a commercial stove plate, e.g. for the preparation of the food to be presented in this in advance for their presentation on the buffet, easily possible.
- the arrangement is designed such that when standing on a flat horizontal buffet surface arrangement or support structure, the underside of the container or at least a majority of the underside of the container of this flat horizontal surface directly opposite, that is only separated by a thin air gap of this, or rests directly on this.
- a built-in buffet area heat energy source eg an electrical resistance hot plate, an infrared heater plate, an induction cooker or a gas or paste burner
- cold source eg, an ice-filled basin

- heat energy source or source of cold such as an electric resistance hot plate, an infrared heating plate, an induction hotplate, a gas or paste burner or an ice-filled basin with which the container can be heated or cooled.
- the lid is also connected to the support structure in such a way that it is tool-less, i. by hand and without any further aids, can be removed from this and connected to this again.
- the cover can also be dismantled or mounted quickly and easily, e.g. to replace a lid smeared with sauce with an identical, clean one or to adapt the lid to a modified container shape.
- the cover is connected to the support structure via a central fastening which fixes the position of the cover with respect to the support structure. This allows virtually any Connect lid shapes in a simple way with the support structure and it must be operated only one coupling point.
- the central fastening is designed such that the production of the connection between cover and support structure is possible only with a certain rotational orientation of the cover with respect to the support structure, which is preferred, then it can be ensured for non-round containers or cover molds that these automatically coupled with the correct orientation to the support structure and accordingly have the correct orientation with respect to the associated container.
- the support structure has a base part connected to the container for arranging on a flat, horizontal buffet surface, and one, and more preferably, exactly one via an advantageously chisgehe ⁇ tmtes joint with the base part connected support arm, which carries the lid ⁇ . It is in embodiments with a

It is also preferred in arrangements according to the invention with a base part and a support arm that at least the base part is formed from a non-ferromagnetic material, so that the arrangement according to the invention for heating food in its container can be arranged on an induction hearth surface without the support structure is heated directly by the induction energy.
- the arrangement comprises a thermal energy source and / or a cold source, with which the container can be heated or cooled, for heating or cooling the food to be received therein.
- the container itself may comprise a heat energy source or cold source integrated in it, for example a container bottom which is electrically heatable or designed as a cold storage, or else the heat energy source or the cold source may be formed separately from the container and remain on the support structure when the container is removed , In this way, food can also be warmed or cooled on buffet areas which have no integrated heating or cooling devices.
- the heat energy source or the cold source is exchanged with the container, which is particularly advantageous if it is designed only as a heat or cold storage.
- the heat energy source and / or cold source is tool-less inseparably connected to the support structure.
- the heat energy source and / or the cold source is integrated in the base part, preferably as an integrated, in particular circular electrical resistance heating plate, infrared heating plate or induction hearth plate or integrated into the base part Gas or paste burner.
- heat energy sources or their components for generating heat from the respective energy carrier are arranged captive on the support structure, so are automatically always available with the support structure.
- the heat energy source is designed as a resistance heating plate, infrared heating plate or induction hearth plate integrated in the base part or as a gas or paste burner integrated in the base part
- the resistance heating plate, the infrared heating plate, the induction hearth plate or the gas or paste burner is surrounded by an upwardly projecting beyond this or this bead, which engages in particular in a corresponding recess on the underside of the container.
- a secure centering of the container is ensured and the container can be formed with a flat bottom and without down on this floor protruding elements, so that the container can be heated outside the arrangement on a standard, flat hotplate.
- a preferably induction-suitable sandwich bottom is arranged on the underside of the container of the arrangement, wherein it is advantageous for reasons mentioned above that there are no contours protruding downwards beyond this sand bottom on the underside of the container.
- Such containers can be used universally and are characterized by a particularly uniform temperature distribution in the container bottom.
- the container advantageously has an inner shell consisting of a ceramic material such as porcelain or earthenware, such that a water bath or ice can be arranged between the outer wall of the container and the inner shell for heating or cooling the inner shell.
- a uniform heat distribution is favored and when warming food can be provided a strong water vapor-containing atmosphere, which counteracts drying out of the food. It is preferred that the support structure
