- step S603 when the trigger is not detected (step S603: No), the process proceeds to step S607, and the navigation apparatus 300 determines whether or not the vehicle has finished traveling (step S607). ).
- the determination regarding the traveling of the vehicle may be made with reference to the outputs of the various sensors 316, for example. More specifically, it may be determined that the vehicle has finished traveling when the output of the various sensors 316 is stopped.
- step S603 If a trigger is detected in step S603 (step S603: Yes), it is determined by various sensors 316 whether or not the voltage value from the power source of the vehicle has become a predetermined value or less (step S604). . In step S604, when the voltage value is equal to or lower than the predetermined value (step S604: Yes), the CPU 301 switches the power supply source from the vehicle power source to the internal battery 318 (step S605).
- the CPU 301 stores the drive recorder image in a recording medium such as the magnetic disk 305 or the optical disk 307 using the internal battery 318 switched in step S605 as a power supply source (step S606).
- step S604 if the voltage value does not fall below a predetermined value (step S604)
- the CPU 301 stores the drive recorder image in a recording medium such as the magnetic disk 305 or the optical disk 307 using the power source of the vehicle as a power supply source (step S60).
- step S607 determines whether or not the vehicle has finished traveling. If the traveling does not end (step S607: No), the process returns to step S602 and repeats the process. .
- step S607 If the vehicle has finished traveling in step S607 (step S607: Yes), the series of processing ends.
- force that is not described in the flowchart of FIG. 6 is configured so that an image around the vehicle is captured and overwritten as an image for a drive recorder in step S602. It is also possible to use a configuration in which information related to the above is overwritten. In this case, in step S603, at the stage where the trigger is detected, the detected detection time and the output at a certain time before and after the detection may be stored. In the flowchart of FIG. 6, when a trigger is detected in step S603, the force that determines whether the voltage value from the vehicle power source has become equal to or less than a predetermined value in step S604 is not limited to this.
- step S605 the process may proceed to step S605 to switch the power supply source from the vehicle power source to the internal battery 318. If the trigger is not detected in step S603, the force that determines whether the vehicle has finished running in step S607. If the trigger is not limited to this, the process proceeds to step S604. It may be determined whether the voltage value of the power source power of the vehicle has become a predetermined value or less. By doing so, for example, from the power source of the vehicle, by detecting the trigger Foreseeing that there is a possibility that the power supply will be cut off, switching to the internal battery enables stable power supply.
- the trigger is detected and the connection with the power source of the vehicle is disconnected with respect to the power supply of the navigation device having the drive recorder function.
- the power supply source can be an internal battery. Therefore, even if an accident occurs where the connection to the vehicle power supply is cut off due to the power supply from the internal battery, it is possible to accurately save the drive recorder images at the time of the accident. Accident verification can be performed.
- the navigation device can be operated by a power source from an accurate power supply source without unnecessarily consuming the internal battery.
- the power supply to the navigation device having the drive recorder function has been described.
- the present invention can also be applied to other devices mounted on the vehicle. Specifically, for example, if applied to the power supply of an air conditioner, the temperature in the vehicle compartment can be kept constant without stopping the air conditioning in the event of an accident, so a passenger confined in the vehicle compartment. The body temperature can be adjusted appropriately.
- the power switching device is provided by a server capable of transmitting and receiving information in real time through communication with the power navigation device configured to switch the power source by the navigation device. It may be realized.
