Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein wasserstoffverbrauchendes System und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben desselben. In einem Aspekt der Erfindung umfasst das System eine Wasserstoff konsumierende Einheit (30) und ein Wasserstoff Speichersystem (10), in welchem Wasserstoff mit wenigstens zwei unterschiedlichen Speichermechanismen in wenigstens einen ersten Speicherteil (16) und einen zweiten Speicherteil (18) gespeichert wird, wobei Wasserstoff wahlweise aus dem ersten oder zweiten Speicherteil (16, 18) entnommen wird. In vorgegebenen Betriebsphasen erfolgt die Entnahme aus dem ersten oder dem zweiten Speicherteil (16, 18) abhängig von einer thermischen Anforderung des Wasserstoff Speichersystems (10) und/oder der Wasserstoff konsumierenden Einheit (30).
