Furthermore, the device in question features a solution that permits heating through both natural and forced convection, whereby convection heating and fan cooling may be obtained from a single unit.
- Figure 1 shows the device in the operating configuration for daytime winter heating, with the fan (4) on and hot water circulating through the heat exchange circuit (3).
- Figure 2 shows the device in the operating configuration for convection with the fan (4) off. It may be noted that opening the front panel (5) will cause air to be circulated inside the room by means of natural convection.
- Figure 3 illustrates the device in the summertime cooling configuration with the circulation of cold air in the heat exchange circuit (3) and the fan (4) on. It may be noted that ambient air is blown by the fan (4) across both finned packs (2; 1). In the figures each individual part is marked as follows:
