Abstract

360,559. Cooling or heating air &c. LEWIS, T., 1541, Sansom Street, Philadelphia, U.S.A. Sept. 5, 1930, No. 26615. [Classes 29 and 64 (i).] Apparatus for cooling or heating air and particularly applicable for ventilation comprises a casing containing a finned-pipe 25 through which a cooling or heating medium is passed and having end panels provided with openings accommodating a rotatable ring 32 carrying individually adjustable shutters 33 and a motor-driven induction fan 16. The shutters are pivoted to a bar 38 secured to the ring. Moisture-collecting baffles 27, 28, Fig. 7, are provided adjacent the shutters and a moisture collector 42 having an insulated base and a drainpipe 47 is attached to the casing.
