Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble capteur de gaz qui comprend un dispositif de rayonnement, une chambre de mesure de gaz, un dispositif détecteur, ainsi qu'un dispositif d'évaluation. Le dispositif d'évaluation commande le dispositif de rayonnement, enregistre et évalue les signaux du détecteur et détermine la concentration de gaz de mesure en fonction du signal de sortie du dispositif détecteur. Le dispositif de rayonnement comprend au moins deux sources de rayonnement de mesure et au moins une source de rayonnement de référence, lesquelles émettent le rayonnement respectivement dans au moins une bande d'absorption du gaz à détecter, la bande de mesure, ainsi que dans au moins une bande spectrale dans laquelle le rayonnement n'est pas absorbé par le gaz de mesure, la bande de référence. Le dispositif détecteur est réalisé de manière à pouvoir recevoir le rayonnement de manière indépendante dans une bande de mesure ou dans une bande de référence après que le rayonnement a traversé la chambre de mesure de gaz, séparément dans l'espace et/ou dans le temps. Le dispositif d'évaluation fait fonctionner les sources de rayonnement selon un algorithme de commande défini, détermine et compare les signaux de sortie du dispositif détecteur dans la bande de mesure et/ou de référence lors de l'activation de l'une des sources de rayonnement ou lors de la comparaison des sources de rayonnement, compense un vieillissement éventuel de l'ensemble capteur de gaz et détermine la concentration de gaz de mesure.
