3)为内容提供商提供与终端用户直接沟通的渠道。通过系统主服务器中保存着终 端用户的所有下载记录,可分析每个用户对多媒体资讯的喜好。在得到终端用户 认可的情况下, 信息分发平台可配合多媒体内容提供商, 主动向终端用户有针对 性的推入多媒体推广内容, 自主提供多媒体资讯, 帮助进行资讯传播, 实现真正 的双向交互。
4)该系统通过合理的收费机制,保证了多媒体内容提供商的合法版权收益。并通 过多媒体网络服务, 有效地提高了电信网络利用率和扩大了网络的应用。 附图说明

请参阅附图 1、 2、 3、 4、 5、 6所示, 本发明提供一种具备直接网络连接功 能便携式终端设备的信息订阅系统,该终端设备 20通过有线 /无线网络 3分别与 信息分发平台 1以及传输协议授权控制平台 2通讯,通过传输协议授权控制平台 2, 向信息分发平台 1订阅和检索信息。
所述的终端设备 20设置有硬件授权芯片 7, 芯片内有密码算法器、 版权权 限控制器、 通信协议以及本终端设备 20的唯一硬件序列号。 所述的传输协议授权控制平台 2, 通过通讯协议, 校验终端设备 20的硬件 序列号, 决定是否授权该终端设备 20向信息分发平台 1订阅和检索信息。
所述的信息分发平台 1,通过网络将信息分发给订阅的终端设备 20,信息分 发平台 1还保存终端设备 20订阅的信息以及该终端设备 20的历史订阅记录。
所述的网络为因特网、 局域网、 无线网络。
所述的具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20可自主地接入网络。 一、信息分发平台 1以服务器的形式嵌入在 Internel:/3G等网络中,存储或连接 内容供应商提供的多媒体资讯, 其功能有多媒体文件管理 (资讯存储和搜索)、 终端用户个人信息管理和资讯推广系统、授权认证系统和版权资费管理、系统软 件维护和升级等,向特定的具有唯一授权认证的具备直接网络连接功能的便携式 终端设备 20, 通过 Internet/3G等网络发送多媒体资讯。 信息分发平台 1的功 能-
1)信息文件管理系统 (参阅附图 4所示):
信息文件管理系统包括资讯存储、 资讯搜索等功能。
a) 信息存储: 信息分发平台 1采用多级分布式存储结构。其结构如附图 4所示, 在系统主服务器 13中集中存储保存了大量的多媒体和数据信息, 同时为了给终 端用户提供高速多媒体和数据信息服务, 可设立几个分服务器 14, 以提高对用 户下载的带宽。 在分服务器 14以下以签约授权方式再设立地区子服务器 15。
在系统主服务器 13 中集中存储保存了可收集到的大量的多媒体和数据信 息, 而分服务器 14和地区子服务器 15可根据下载情况的不同要求,存储相应的 多媒体和数据信息, 可视为系统主服务器 13集中存储的多媒体和数据信息的子 集。当分服务器 14和地区子服务器 15收到用户的下载请求,先在本地存储系统 中搜索, 没有搜索到相关的内容, 再向系统主服务器 13发送请求传输新的多媒 体信息。
b) 信息搜索: 信息分发平台 1中存储的信息具有非重复性, 信息分发平台 1将 信息资讯按索引方式做成数据库列表, 例如表演者、 专辑、 或类型等, 每一个信 息资讯以特定唯一的排列方式存储在系统中, 方便用户查找。 在用户向信息分发平台 1 发出多媒体资讯下载请求后, 该信息分发平台 1 会自动搜索到相应的信息资讯, 自动寻找用户现有的网络接入(需用户申请)方 式, 实时或等到有信号后提供终端的下载要求。
2)终端用户个人信息管理和资讯发布:
在系统主服务器 13中保存登记的授权终端用户的个人信息如姓名、 住址、 电话等记录。 同时系统主服务器 13中保存着终端用户的所有下载记录和当前对 应终端的多媒体下载文件列表 18。
用户可以上网查看、 编辑和修改当前对应终端的多媒体下载文件列表 18, 然后用户可对应终端设备 20与终端多媒体下载文件列表 18进行同步,下载相应 的多媒体信息资讯。这样一来, 终端用户以无线等接入方式确定终端多媒体下载 文件列表 18, 而后通过宽带方式下载资讯, 以达到终端多媒体下载文件列表 18 和终端设备 20存储的信息资讯内容的匹配。
另外通过系统主服务器 13中保存着终端用户的所有下载记录, 可分析每个 用户对信息资讯的喜好。在得到终端用户认可的情况下,信息分发平台 1配合信 息内容提供商, 主动向终端用户有针对性的推入信息推广内容。
3)授权认证系统- 在网络上传输多媒体资讯, 非常关键的就是防止非法复制。在本系统中, 通 过信息分发平台 1和具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20之间建立授权 确认机制来实现版权的控制和收费。 其功能实现见附图 1所示。
每个具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20都内置有硬件授权芯片 7, 其授权下载方式为: 硬件授权芯片 7根据内置的密码算法, 计算出授权密钥,在 用户提出下载请求时, 必须提供授权密钥, 经传输协议授权控制平台 2授权密匙 验证, 保证了只有授权用户可以下载。 同时支持版权控制功能: 当下载的信息资 料带有版权控制信息时,硬件授权芯片 7根据版权控制信息允许该设备的用户对 此媒体资料做复制 /传播 /修改等操作。硬件授权芯片 7由三大功能模块组成, 密 码算法器、 版权权限控制器和通信协议。
密码算法器内置动态密码算法可实时的计算出授权密钥,并由通讯接口经网 络接口 8发送至传输协议授权控制平台 2。
传输协议授权控制平台 2根据接收到的密钥,由对应的密码算法计算得到相 应的密匙, 经确认无误后, 同意下载请求, 并经信息分发平台 1发送所要下载的 媒体资料。
由于密钥和密匙由硬件授权芯片 7和传输协议授权控制平台 2动态地、独立 地产生, 具有高保密性和不可复制的特点, 保证了授权系统的高度可靠工作。
在接收到下载的信息资料后,如该信息资料带有版权权限信息时, 版权权限 控制器可读取相应版权权限信息,并告之系统的控制器下载的信息资料操作的限 制,保证了版权的控制。其信息资讯的版权权限可根据内容供应商的要求进行定 制, 具有很强的灵活性。
4)计费管理- 根据信息分发平台 1中的个人信息管理系统的信息, 当终端设备 20与信息 分发平台 1连接后,信息分发平台 1的计费系统开始记录用户的下载等操作并记 录相应的费用。
5)系统的升级和维护:
在终端用户确认后,信息分发平台 1可自动将终端的软件更新, 向用户提供 更多的服务和多媒体资讯频道, 可修补系统漏涧, 版权保护。
二、 多媒体网络传输技术: 为实现高速便捷的多媒体传输, 并在传输中保障信息 资讯的版权, 防止非法复制是多媒体网络传输技术的要点。该系统的传输特点是 封闭型开放式、分布式的网络;在信息分发平台 1与具备直接网络连接功能的便 携式终端设备 20采用身份授权认证的方式来保证传输的一一对应和防止非法复 制。
1)封闭型开放式的网络传输方式:
为防止非法复制,在信息分发平台 1与具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端 设备 20之间, 信息资讯的传输是以封闭的方式进行的。 具体地说, 信息分发平 台 1只对经过身份授权认证的终端设备 20发送特定的多媒体文件, 而不向其他 设备传送。 每个具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20只有一个唯一的硬 件序列号, 每次终端设备 20向信息分发平台 1发送下载请求时, 必须先发送硬 件序列号的身份认证码 4, 得到信息分发平台 1身份认证码确认后, 信息分发平 台 1才发出下载命令 5, 保证了多媒体文件只在特定网络系统中传输; 特定的具 备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20无法连接到可疑的非法复制设备上。 这样一来在封闭型的网络系统中可防止非法复制的发生。本系统基于现有的无线 /有线网络 3, 进行多媒体文件的传输。 可应用于各种公开的网络, 其结构是开 放式的。
2)多媒体文件分布式的传输和集中式的授权认证管理 (参阅附图 5所示):
为了对大量的终端用户提供高速方便的多媒体下载方式,本系统釆用多级分 布式网络系统结构。 其中核心是系统主服务器 13, 同时为了给终端用户提供高 速的多媒体和数据信息服务, 可设立几个分服务器 14, 以提高对用户下载的带 宽。 在分服务器 14以下以签约授权方式再设立地区子服务器 15。 这样一来, 对 不同的终端用户可利用最近的多媒体服务器提供下载服务。
而在终端用户的管理方面,为保证每个终端设备 20的授权唯一性和可靠性。 本系统采用的是集中式授权认证管理系统。 其工作机制为, 当终端设备 20用户 向信息分发平台 1发送下载请求的同时, 发送本机的身份认证码硬件序列号 4, 所有的终端用户的硬件序列号都由主服务器 13进行确认。 这种集中式的授权认 证管理, 限制了非法复制硬件序列号的可能性。 在主服务器 13 对终端设备 20 的身份认证码进行确认后, 自动搜索到最合适的分服务器 14/子服务器 15,下达 下载的命令,由分服务器 14/子服务器 15对终端设备 20进行多媒体文件的传输。
简而言之, 就是传输的分布式, 认证的集中式。
3)辅助式的网络下载设备: 包括网络多媒体接驳坞站 16和网络多媒体转接器 17 等。
网络多媒体接驳坞站 16应用于配合新型便携式网络多媒体终端 21的辅助设 备。网络多媒体接驳坞站 16自身具有网络连接口,可自主的连接网络, 通过多媒 体的网络服务,接收多媒体和数据文件, 然后通过特定的通信接口与新型便携式 网络多媒体终端 21连接后, 将各种多媒体和数据文件传输至新型便携式网络多 媒体终端 21。
网络多媒体转接器 17针对现有不具备网络接入功能的多媒体播放设备, 网 络多媒体转接器 17自身具有网络接口装置,可连接网络接收多媒体和数据文件, 将接收到的多媒体和数据文件保存到自身的存储装置和存储介质, 通过通信接 口,接驳不具备网络接入功能的多媒体播放设备, 将接收到的多媒体和数据文件 传输至现有不具备网络接入功能的多媒体播放设备。
应用辅助式的网络下载设备可方便网络多媒体的下载操作, 新型便携式网 络多媒体终端 21只需要下载文件列表, 而大量的信息资讯下载工作可以由网络 多媒体接驳坞站 16来完成。另一方面网络多媒体接驳坞站 16也可做为一个小"服 务器",根据内置的资源共享软件, 向其他网络多媒体接驳坞站 16发送已下载的 多媒体资讯。这样一来就保证了对下载请求较多的多媒体资讯,可以由很多个"服 务器"进行数据上传服务, 保证了下载的速度。 而网络多媒体转接器 17实现了 不具备网络接入功能的多媒体播放设备对网络多媒体资讯的兼容。
三、 具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20 (参阅附图 2所示): 基于网络 多媒体服务, 具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20自身具有网络接口 8, 可自主以无线或有线的方式连接网络多媒体服务器和接收多媒体、数据文件,从 而获得各种网络多媒体资讯,并对各种多媒体和数据文件进行处理运算的多媒体 存储和播放终端。
1)控制器 6: 控制系统各个功能模块的工作如显示、 电源管理等, 同时实现存储 介质 9的管理和各种网络协议的运行,使系统可连接存储介质 9和接入各种网络。 控制器 6的软件架构为开放式, 通过软件升级, 并进行下载的管理。
2)媒体处理器 11 : 对各种不同格式的媒体文件进行处理运算, 可支持视音频多 媒体文件, 其系统可通过软件升级, 以适应新的多媒体文件格式, 可支持在线播 放和下载播放。
3) 硬件授权芯片 7根据内置的密码算法, 计算出授权密钥, 在用户提出下载请 求时, 必须向信息分发平台 1提供授权密钥, 经信息分发平台 1授权密匙验证, 保证了只有授权用户可以下载。同时支持版权控制功能: 当下载的媒体资料带有 版权控制信息时,硬件授权芯片 7根据版权控制信息允许该设备的用户对此媒体 资料做复制 /传播 /修改等操作。
4)存储介质 9可选用内置 IC存储芯片或存储卡或微硬盘,用于保存下载的媒体 资料文件。 采用大容量存储, 可下载大量媒体资料。
5)网络接口 8为内置的 WiFi, 移动通信和 Ethernet等多种无线 /有线网络 3通 讯接口, 可以方便的在任何场合, 与网络通讯, 享用网络媒体资料。
6)输出设备 12: 视音频播放接口可将解码和处理后的数字流媒体输出, 进行播 放, 也可输出至相应的播放设备上。
7) 显示设备 10: 显示设备 10界面显示网络下载和通信接驳状况等信息, 便于 用户操作。
以下为具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20的特点:
1 ) 即插即连的网络连接:
为了使用方便, 具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20应具有自主网 络通讯功能,可自行接入网络, 完成网络通信功能。 其自主网络通讯功能含义为 用户无须做复杂的操作和设置,只需将终端设备 20接驳至相应的网络接入接口, 终端设备 20可自主的实现网络的通信协议和网络地址的信息搜索, 并完成在线 播放和下载等各种网络操作。 对终端用户而言, 该设备具有 "即插即用"的网络 接入能力, 并且具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20的网络接入能力满 足各种不同类型有线和无线网络的接入能力,实现终端用户在移动中随时随地的 网络接入要求。
为实现具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20的自主网络通讯功能, 需要从硬件和软件两方面进行设计考虑:硬件方面, 具备直接网络连接功能的便 携式终端设备 20 必须带有符合各种不同类型有线和无线网络 3 的物理链路层 (PHY)和媒体应用层(MAC)的接口。通过物理链路层(PHY)和媒体应用层(MAC), 具备直接网络连接功能便携式终端设备 20就可与有线和无线网络 3实现在硬件 层面上的互通, 作为网络通讯的基础。
软件方面: 通过硬件, 网络具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20与 有线和无线网络 3实现在硬件层面上的互通后,具备直接网络连接功能的便携式 终端设备 20必须通过内置的网络通讯协议软件, 实现网络通讯的握手协议, 发 送相应网络操作的命令, 自主的搜索响应媒体资源, 下载和上传数据包。在该具 备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20软件还须具有网络类型判别功能, 以 针对不同的网络类型, 运行相应的网络协议以保证网络通讯的自主进行。
2) 内嵌硬件授权芯片 7:
硬件授权芯片 7根据内置的密码算法,计算出授权密钥,在用户提出下载请 求时, 必须向信息分发平台 1提供授权密钥, 经信息分发平台 1授权密匙验证, 保证了只有授权用户可以下载。同时支持版权控制功能: 当下载的媒体资料带有 版权控制信息时,硬件授权芯片根据版权控制信息允许该设备的用户对此媒体资 料做复制 /传播 /修改等操作。
3)具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20的种类是多种多样的,包括图中 所示便携式网络多媒体终端 21、 固定式网络多媒体存储和播放设备 22。
便携式网络多媒体终端 21自身具有网络连接和通讯接口可自主以 WiFi、 3G、 以太网,无线或有线的方式连接网络和接收多媒体和数据文件,从而获得各多媒 体和数据文件, 并对各种多媒体和数据文件进行处理运算。并可配合网络多媒体 接驳坞站 16应用。
固定式网络多媒体存储和播放设备 22应用于舞厅、 卡拉 0K、 酒吧、 宾馆和 家庭等固定场所的多媒体播放, 该新型固定式网络多媒体存储和播放设备 22 自 身具有网络连接接口, 可自主的连接网络,通过多媒体的网络服务接收高质量的 多媒体文件, 并可保存在内置的大容量存储器中, 然后通过数字视音频输出接口 输出到特定的播放设备上进行播放或通过内建的播放器进行播放。
四、 多媒体资讯的下载机制 (参阅附图 6所示), 通过该新型多媒体资讯网络系 统, 进行多媒体文件的下载。
1 ) 终端多媒体文件下载列表的同步和更新 19: 用户可以上网查看、 编辑和修改 当前对应终端多媒体下载文件列表 18, 然后用户可将对应多媒体存储和播放终 端设备与终端多媒体下载文件列表 18进行同步, 下载相应的多媒体资讯。 这样 一来, 终端用户先以无线等低速的接入方式确定终端多媒体下载文件列表 18, 而后通过宽带方式下载资讯, 以达到终端多媒体下载文件列表 18和终端设备 20 存储的多媒体资讯内容的匹配。
2)唯一性身份认证和授权: 每个终端设备 20具有唯一性的身份认证码密钥。 当 终端设备 20用户向网络信息分发平台 1发送下载请求的同时, 发送本机的身份 认证码硬件序列号 4, 所有的终端用户的身份认证码硬件序列号都由系统主服务 器 13中根据特定的密码算法, 进行身份认证码密匙的计算和确认。 这种集中式 的授权认证管理, 限制了非法复制身份认证码的可能性。 在主服务器 13对终端 设备 20的身份认证码确认后, 自动搜索到最合适的分服务器 14/子服务器 15, 下达下载的命令 5。
3)多媒体文件的下载传输: 由分服务器 14/子服务器 15对具备直接网络连接功 能的便携式终端设备 20进行多媒体文件的传输。 如可通过网络多媒体接驳坞站 16 以宽带方式接入网络, 接收多媒体和数据文件, 然后通过特定的通信接口与 具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20连接后, 将各种多媒体和数据文件 传输至具备直接网络连接功能的便携式终端设备 20。

Claims

权利要求书
1、 一种具备直接网络连接功能便携式终端设备的信息订阅系统, 其特征在于: 该终端设备通过网络分别与信息分发平台以及传输协议授权控制平台通讯,通过 传输协议授权控制平台, 向信息分发平台订阅和检索信息。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的一种具备直接网络连接功能便携式终端设备的信息订 阅系统, 其特征在于: 所述的终端设备设置有硬件授权芯片, 芯片内有密码算法 器、 版权权限控制器、 通信协议以及本终端设备的唯一硬件序列号。
3、 根据权利要求 1所述的一种具备直接网络连接功能便携式终端设备的信息订 阅系统, 其特征在于: 所述的传输协议授权控制平台, 通过通讯协议, 校验终端 设备的硬件序列号, 决定是否授权该终端设备向信息分发平台订阅和检索信息。
4、 根据权利要求 1所述的一种具备直接网络连接功能便携式终端设备的信息订 阅系统, 其特征在于: 所述的信息分发平台, 通过网络将信息分发给订阅的终端 设备, 信息分发平台还保存终端设备订阅的信息以及该终端设备的历史订阅记 录。
