Abstract
L'invention concerne une presse à fente longitudinale pour assécher des bandes (1) de papier, de carton, de tissu ou d'autres matières fibreuses dans une machine de production et/ou de traitement de ces matières. La presse comprend un rouleau presseur (4) doté d'un bandage souple (9) et d'un élément de pression (6) à surface de pression concave, cet élément comprimant le bandage souple (9) contre un cylindre antagoniste (5) pour former une fente de pression prolongée, le diamètre du rouleau presseur (4) étant inférieur à 1 m. L'invention vise à réduire la charge exercée sur le bandage souple (9). A cet effet, le diamètre du cylindre antagoniste (5) est inférieur à 1,4 m et le rapport entre la longueur (L) de la surface de pression dans le sens d'avancement de la bande (11) et le diamètre du rouleau presseur (4) est supérieur à 0,08 et/ou le rouleau compresseur (4) dépasse le cylindre antagoniste (5) d'au moins 25 cm à l'extrémité du rouleau.
