Technical Field
[1] The present invention provides a cooking device utilized in a kitchen of a house or a restaurant, in particular a cooking device with water film removing means, which can be used for making foods such as a rice meal and a soup or a pot stew and the like. Background Art
[2] In general, cooking device is employed when a soup or pot stew and the like has been cooked in a home or a restaurant, and such cooking device can be divided at first into a cooking device with long handle and a cooking device with short handles at both sides. Further, such cooking device can also be divided into several cooking devices such as cooking device with low operating head, cooking device with middleoperating head and cooking device with high head, and appropriate cooking device can be chosen depending on the foods to be cooked.
[3] Also, most of such cooking devices are provided with a step portion at their periphery to prevent the overflow of the rice water or soup and the pot stew, and a cover is placed and used on the upper step portion of the cooking device.
[4] The material for manufacturing such cooking device can be selected from an aluminum, which is good in heat conductivity and has rust resistant property to make it convenient to use, a steel plate which is good in heat conductivity and good in heat insulation property, also it can be made of an enamel with the white soil coated so that it can boil the foods for a long time.
[5] As described above, such cooking device is generally constructed to increase the heat transmission efficiency and heat insulation property by using various materials, and in such a cooking device, a gap produced between the cooking device and the cover is decreased to thereby maintain the temperature in the device, resulting in the increase of the heating efficiency.
[6] However, the cooking device and the cover for it cannot be closed completely because the inside air will be expanded due to the inside heat and the water in the device heated to be vaporized as a steam.
[7] Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 1, al least one venting hole 111 is formed at the cover 110 for the cooking device, and inside steam and the expanded air can be discharged through the venting hole 111 to thereby maintain the closed state between the cover and the cooking device 1.
[8] In this instance, as it is difficult to discharge the whole steam and the expanded air through the venting hole 111, the saturated steam and the expanded air are discharged through the gap produced between the cover 110 and the support portion 101 formed as step shape of the cooking device 100. However, as shown in FlG. 2, in such an engagement structure, the inside moisture is vaporized and rises, then descends along the inclined surface of the cover 110 to thereby form water films, resulting in the closing of an engagement portion. Accordingly, the inside air and the steam cannot be discharged smoothly.
[9] As a result, the cover 110 of the cooking device is floated up and down by the push of the pressure of the expanded air and the steam, so that it is necessary to clean the cooking device 100, the cover 110, and the other portions of the cooking device more than they are required, because the soup and the pot stew have been splashed on those portions. Therefore, the cover 110 has been positioned slant on the support portion of the cooking device so as to reduce the excessive floating of the devices.
[10] Further, as the use of the cover is not stable, the cover 110 has been often separated from the cooking device to thereby increase the heat loss of the cooking device 100, resulting in the extension of the cooking time and increase of the energy consumption. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem

[23] Now referring to Figs. 3 and 4, the cooking device 10 with the water film removing means of the present invention is shown. In the drawings, cover 110 is separated for the purpose of brief explanation and observation. [24] As shown in FlG. 3, the cooking device 10 comprises a body 10a for receiving the foods to be cooked, and equipped with a pair of handles 10b at both outer sides of it for transporting the cooking device, and in which a peripheral support portion 11 formed to as a step portion is formed at the upper inside of the cooking device 1 for supporting the cover (not shown) closely.
[25] In the present invention, a plurality of water film removing grooves 20, which is the water film removing means, are formed along the peripheral support portion 11 of the cooking device 10 for removing the water film produced during the heating for the cooking of foods.
[26] As shown in FlG. 3, each of the plurality of the grooves 20 is formed to be a concave shape, which has an upper incomplete engaging portion 21, and a pair of side incomplete engaging portions 22A, 22B. Such groove 20 is triangular shape in cross- section in the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
[27] However, it may be formed to be rectangular, semi-circular, or semi-arc in cross- section so that a gap can be formed between the cover 110 of the cooking device 10 and the support portion 11 of the cooking device 10 when the cover 110 is contacted with the support 11 closely to thereby allow the water film produced during the boiling of the foods received in the cooking device to flow down along the inside surface of the cooking device, resulting in the opening of the gap in spite of the water films.
[28] In the present invention, the upper incomplete engaging portion 21 of the groove 20 is formed at an upper surface of the support portion 11 in the cooking device 10 to provide a gap between the cover 110 and the support portion 11 to thereby open the water film produced during the cooking.
[29] Also, the side incomplete engaging portions 22A, 22B are formed at the side surface of the support portion 11 to prevent the close of the cooking device 10 and the cover 110 to thereby form a gap between the cover and the support portion 11 of the cooking device 10.
[30] In the present invention, the upper incomplete engaging portion 21 and the side incomplete engaging portions 22A, 22B can be formed integrally at the initial time of manufacturing the cooking device, or after the cooking device has been manufactured.
[31] Although the groove can be formed to be the triangular shape, the rectangular shape, the semi-arc shape, and the semi-circular shape in cross-section, it can be formed in any other shape on condition that a gap can be provided between the cover 110 and the support 11 of the cooking device 10.
[32] Also, in another embodiment of the present invention, the cover 120 with projections 122 at the inside peripheral edge can be provided to increase the boiling efficiency, as shown in FlG. 6.
[33] Hereinafter, the action of the cooking device of the present invention will be described in detail with regard to FlGs. 5 and 6.
[34] As shown in FlGs. 5 and 6, when the cooking is carried out in the cooking device 10, the moisture in the cooking device 10 is vaporized to arise by the boiling of the cooking device, however, it cannot be discharged from the venting hole 11 formed at the cover 110 and again collected in the inside to form moisture, and the moisture is collected on the support portion 11 of the cooking device 10. Then, the collected moisture can flow down along the upper incomplete engaging portion 21 and the side incomplete engaging portions 22A, 22B of the water film removing means formed at the support portion 11 of the cooking device 10 to thereby prevent condensation of the water film at the contact portion of the cover 110 and the cooking device 10.
[35] Further, as shown in FIG. 6, in case of employing a cover 120 with a projection 122 at a peripheral inside edge of it, the boiling effect of the cooking device 10 can be further increased.
