Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'aspiration de fumées (10) comprenant un boîtier (12) qui est disposé en-dessous d'un système de préparation d'aliments (par ex. une plaque de cuisson (16)) et qui présente, successivement dans la direction de circulation, une entrée d'air (24) avec filtre à graisses (42) associé, un ventilateur (38) et une sortie d'air (44) avec filtre à odeurs (54, 56) associé. Le boîtier (12) est plat et parallélépipédique. Le filtre à odeurs (54, 56) est composé d'au moins deux plaques de filtrage d'odeurs (54a, 54b, 56a, 56b) sensiblement en forme de V, disposées entre le ventilateur (38) et la sortie d'air (44), et inclinée en formant un angle aigu avec la direction de circulation. A la sortie d'air (44) est associée au moins une ouverture (62, 64) pratiquée dans les parois latérales (46, 48) et/ou le fond du boîtier (12). Ce dispositif d'aspiration de fumées (10) peut faire l'objet d'une utilisation quotidienne. La constitution particulière du filtre à odeurs permet de satisfaire les exigences de puissance d'aspiration des fumées et puissance de filtrage. Les fumées sont aspirées dans le boîtier (12) situé en-dessous du dispositif de préparation d'aliments, duquel l'air débarrassé de ses graisses et odeurs, peut être restitué sans problème à l'environnement extérieur.
