Abstract
The invention relates to an alternating half-lap-type joint for the assembly of dismantlable floor panels, which is intended for events and sports activities. According to the invention, the entire periphery of each floor panel is subjected to double alternating half-lap machining, such that identical segments are repeated in the form of sinusoidal or broken lines, said segments comprising two male parts M and two female parts F which are alternated between the top and the bottom of the panel. According to the invention, the alpha angle defined by the machining form and a line parallel to the side of the panel is less than 45 DEG and the thickness of the male parts M is less than that of the female parts F.
Description
Ces dites liaisons sont généralement réalisées par 2 systèmes distincts :The present invention relates to the connection between the removable floor plates for entertainment and sports. Generally the removable floors consist of plywood plates, often mounted on foam pads of different thicknesses and different hardness, of reduced size to be able to be transported, assembled and stored easily A connection between each plate is imperative not to have height offset between the plates and to avoid spreading and sliding between them. These said connections are generally carried out by 2 separate systems:
A connection on the fields of the plates together to limit the offset of heights such as bouvillage, plastic profile fitting inside or outside of the plates, screwed wooden batten, offset double floor or others. .
A system to prevent the spacing and sliding of the plates such as jumpers, angle locking plates, "Velcro" blocks at the junction of the 4 plates, screwing the plates to battens or other ... All these systems plates joining lead to a significant assembly time, differences in levels and unsightly apparent junctions. The object of this invention is to eliminate all these drawbacks. The invention consists in having a connection between the floor plates, carried out by a double alternating half-wood machining, forming a repetition of identical periods on the fields of the plates. These so-called periods consist of 2 male parts and 2 female parts alternated between the top and the bottom of the plate. When mounting the plates, the assembly of these periods forms a recess ensuring the height maintenance between the plates but also ensures alignment by avoiding sliding between plates. For square or rectangular floors, a simple peripheral strapping made with a strap is enough to secure the entire floor. For floors with special shapes, other systems are possible to avoid the spacing of the floor plates such as: holes in the mid-wood where locking pins will be housed, nipples under the 4 angles of the plates could be connected by a clamping member (collar, elastomer, ...), cleats directly fixed to the ground or any other support system between plates.
Description of the figures: Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the floor plate. We can see the multitude of machining periods on the fields of the plate. We also see that the 4 angles are perfectly identical, as well as the fields of the plate. They always start and end with the same machining period P. The machining of these periods can be either in sinusoidal form or in the form of broken lines. Figure 2 shows in perspective the junction of 4 plates, the fourth being slightly apart. On the left plate of the figure, the period P has been defined by a dimension line. We then see the 2 male parts A and A 'and the 2 female parts B and B' of the period P. The plates are nested only if the fields of the plates are machined with the same period at the start and at the end of each field. So you can make rectangular plates if you respect the machining step. But the advantage of this invention is to have more simplicity and standardization therefore square plates with 4 identical sides and without top or bottom. Figure 3 shows two examples of different machining form, seen from above. We can imagine different forms of machining either sinusoidal or in the form of broken lines, having different periods like period D and period E. But the casing of the fourth plate shown offset in Figure 2 will only be possible if we respects a dimension less than 45 degrees for the angle defined by the shape of the male or female parts and a line parallel to the edge of the plate. If this said angle α is equal to 45 ° on the shape of the male and female parts of two consecutive sides, this leads to a parallelism on the plate fitting zone (bottom plate in fig. 2) which would make it very difficult to 'casing. In addition if the said angle α is greater than 45 °, this results in an undercut in the fitting area, therefore the impossibility of assembling the plates together. Figure 4 is the partial section of the connection between the two plates (fig.2). A minimum functional clearance J appears for the casing. Indeed, in order to be able to fit the plates, the thickness of the core part M must always be slightly less than that of the corresponding female part F.
