Abstract

A connecting process, in particular for connecting tables and other sheet-like objects. The process is extremely well suited, for example, for connecting panels, floor materials and other types of covering panels. The invention is based on the fact that on the edge of each object to be connected there are formed at least two wave-shaped curves which run parallel to the edge and of which one forms the basic curve and at least one has been offset in the longitudinal direction of the edge such that the curves, seen in the transverse direction of the edge, lie in an offset manner. Upon connection of the parts, the peaks are laid against the troughs of the corresponding parts, this resulting in a complete and self-contained connection both in the longitudinal and in the transverse directions.

Description

This invention is a connection method for in particular sheet-like objects according to the preamble of claim 1.

This invention is also a connection according to the preamble of claim 3.

In addition, the invention concerns the Application of the items mentioned in claim 8 for Formation of areas.

The connection method performed according to this invention is especially intended for the connection of table tops, but it's also great for connecting other sheet-like objects such. B. panels, Flooring materials and other formwork panels.

Several are known for connecting the above-mentioned objects Method. The best-known are various spunders bindings where the edge of the item is joined with a Bung and the corresponding fold is provided. A Sheet pile connection is very resilient and clean and in addition suitable to pieces together to form a flat, uniform Connect surface. The weak point of this type of connection is that you always have two different pieces for the connection Needs H. that for the connection one bung and one Fold is needed. In addition, the sheet connection can only be made in Be loaded in the transverse direction and the objects must be in Longitudinal direction of the sheet pile joint fastened with separate clamps become. Instead of using the sheet pile joint, panels and other can Formwork materials from behind with different brackets be connected into larger areas. This type of connection  is best suited for joining formwork materials that are not loaded.

So far there was no system with which several table surfaces without any brackets could be joined together. Usually at exhibitions and conferences, in Restaurants and corresponding public spaces if Tables of different sizes are needed, the one needed Table by lining up individual tables posed. The tables are usually not together attached, which leads to many problems. If the floor of the room is even a little uneven, they lie Table surfaces of the adjacent tables are not in one plane, and all tables wobble slightly if the feet of only one Do not lay the table on a flat floor. The wiggle can be balanced with insoles under the feet, but the Work is arduous and it is not said that Even then, table surfaces lie on one level.

The larger tables put together in this way consist of individual parts, each with a table surface Feet exist, which is not always for the load-bearing capacity necessary is. The feet also need a lot of space and complicate sitting at the table. Adjusting big ones Table systems are difficult because each table is adjusted individually and then the whole system can be reassembled got to. The storage of the footed tables is difficult and requires a lot of space. In rooms where temporary large quantities of tables must be set up sufficient stock of individual tables also for larger needs to be available. Even if tables are often used in such cases are used, which are at least partially on top of each other can be stacked, so is the storage and the Handling of the tables when moving the rooms anyway difficult.

If you want a stable table system, then you have to  Tables with special brackets can be connected. The brackets are either on the table tops or the feet attached. The brackets leave traces on tabletops, assembly is time consuming and requires tools. Brackets, that are attached to the feet do not necessarily guarantee that the table tops are at the same height. If you think of such Attach table top elbows or other additional parts wants, they must be attached with separate connectors become.

The object of this invention is to provide a connection method find with which sheet-like objects without separate Brackets can be connected and which one all parts to be connected in terms of shape are preferably identical.

The invention is based on the fact that at the edge of the Object, at least two, parallel in the longitudinal direction running wavy arches are formed, one of which forms the base arch and at least one in the longitudinal direction of the hem runs offset, the arches in the cross section of the hem seen mutually offset. When connecting the parts the peaks of the neighboring parts into the valleys of the Counterpart placed, one in both longitudinal and in Transverse direction in positive connection arises.

The method of this invention is more specific said what in the characterizing part of claim 1 is specified.

Again, it is characteristic of the connection of this invention what in the characterizing part of claim 3 is specified.

Again, it is characteristic of the subject matter of this invention what in the characterizing part of claim 8 is specified.

With the help of this invention, considerable advantages are achieved.

With the method according to this invention it is possible to Plates and other objects without special brackets or To connect fittings together. All to be connected Pieces can be built completely symmetrically, whereby only Pieces of a kind are required, which can be arbitrarily attached to one Pieces of the same type can be added to any edge can. The connection is positive in both Longitudinal and transverse directions of the joint. So can an area made from according to this invention Panels exist, be loaded even if all panels are not be supported against the load. Therefore table tops be produced that are easily connected can and with the help of which it is possible to large table systems to put together without the need for separate connectors Need to become. You only need a few foot parts; the Table tops are trimmed on the edges of the Individual tables supported. Additional plates without feet can, if they are not used, are stored with little space; when large tables are needed again, the panels can easily connected to the tables with feet are provided. For example, students can be one School class their tables if they want, even for everyone School hours arbitrarily, differently group, depending on whether tables for group work or individual tables. With help The elbows and elbows can be in different tables Shapes can be put together. The same way you can e.g. B. roof cladding can be put together with only a few connectors attached to the basic structure become.

The table surfaces of the assembled parts are without annoying differences in height put together flush. Except Table surfaces and other sheet-like objects can one with this invention also z. B. chairs and others  Assemble pieces of furniture; with these the connection to the Example attached to the armrest or similar.

The invention is in the following with the help of the enclosed Drawings explained in more detail.

Fig. 1-4 show different plate shapes for which the invention can be applied.

Fig. 5 shows a connection made according to the invention from the side in cross section.

Figure 6 shows a table system that was assembled using this invention.

Fig. 1 shows a plate arrangement machined according to the invention. The plate arrangement consists of the plate 1 itself and the surrounding abutting surface. In this case, the abutting surface consists of two parallel sinusoidal arches 2 and 3 surrounding the plate 1 . In the following, the bow 2 running at the front is called the base bow and the bow 3 running at the rear is called the offset bow. The arch section protruding from the plate edge 1 is called the summit 4 and the section bent inwards is the valley 5 . The curved section consisting of a summit 4 and a valley 5 is called the shaped section M. The base arch 2 begins at the summit 4 at the corner A of the plate and continues as a uniform sinusoidal wave-like arch to the corners B and C, where the arch ends with a valley section 5 . From these corners, the base curve 2 continues to the corner D opposite the corner A, where it ends as a summit. The offset arc 3 begins at corner A as a valley and continues to corners B and C where it ends as a peak. Accordingly, the offset arc 3 ends at the opposite corner D as a valley. The arches 2 and 3 are thus offset in relation to each other.

The most advantageous length of the offset is half a wavelength. When using the offset of half a wavelength, the zero points of the base sheet 2 and the offset sheet 3 can be placed at the corners of the plate 1 . If multiplied lengths of a wavelength are chosen as the side lengths of plate 1 , a completely symmetrical plate part can be produced as shown in Figure 1 . Such a plate part can always be connected to another corresponding part, so that only parts of one type are required even for large areas.

Fig. 5 shows in cross section the connection of plate 1 of Fig. 1 with an identical plate. The figure shows how the base arch 2 and the offset arch 3 lie on top of one another at the hem and thus form a connection which enables a considerable load on the surface. The connection of the plate 1 is secured with a quick-release fastener, which consists of the opening 6 of the two arches 2 and 3 and the corresponding opening 7 on the inner edge of the arch. The height of the extension is dimensioned so that the plates 1 can be pressed against one another with moderate application of force and easily separated from one another. The quick-release fastener is an option of the invention, which can be implemented in many ways or can be omitted entirely, the parts of the sheets 2 and 3 lying opposite one another being smooth. An optional connection method is to shape the shape of at least one arch in such a way that the arch is turned a little from the surface facing the arch in the hem direction. If the one arch is now provided with a recess and the parallel arch is provided with a recess of the appropriate shape, the plate is still symmetrical and can be connected to another plate which has been turned over for connection and has a corresponding edge shape. The edges of the edges protrude from one another and form a closing connection.

Fig. 1, 2, 3 and 4 show different edge shapes of plate 1 . In the following, some design examples of the panels are given with reference to these figures. The plate of Fig. 1 can e.g. B. be dimensioned so that 160 mm is selected as the edge division, ie as the wavelength of the sheets, the side lengths being multiplied wavelengths, in this case therefore 800 × 640 mm. In the plate 2 , the division of the edge is somewhat denser, ie 100 mm, the side lengths can be measured with the multiplier of 100 mm, z. B. 600 × 800 mm. In the plate of Fig. 3, the division is 200 mm; the side lengths are again 600 × 800 mm. The plate of fig . 4 has the same dimensions as the plate in Fig. 2, but the edge shape is more angular here.

As can be seen from the above examples, the edge shape of the base plates 1 can be designed quite freely within the scope of the invention. In principle, you can choose any shape as an edge arch shape and the individual arches can even have different shapes. In this case, however, different plates must be produced, which are matched to one another in pairs. The most favorable solution for this invention is obtained if two regularly repeating shapes are selected as the edge shape, which are each offset from the edge by half a wavelength; a multiplied wavelength is chosen as the edge length. Here, too, integers are the cheapest as multipliers.

The connection form can also only be part of the Plate edge must be attached, but at least in doing so part of the plates with a cut or a Relief will be given to those of the plate parts who have no connection forms. To be a durable one To establish a connection, the length of the connection form must be used correspond to at least the length of a shaped section M. The Connection form can also consist of several arches. A  conceivable execution could consist of three arches, one of which would be two basic arcs running in phase. The transferred Arch would run between the base arches, with the Base arches would include the offset arch.

The plate parts marked above can with many different methods are made; the manufacturing method largely depends on the one to be used Material. A cheap method is to have the edge shape in one Pour the mold to the edge of the chipboard. The edge shape can be milled with one milling tool or two take identical boards that are glued together or otherwise be connected to each other so that a offset form is created. The offset shape is achieved just so that the plate 180 ° around its longitudinal or Transverse axis rotates. Used as a manufacturing material Plastic, concrete or similar easy-to-pour material, it is most convenient to pour the whole plate.

Fig. 6 shows a plate surface which consists of parts of plates which have been produced according to this invention. In order to improve the clarity, plates in different sizes were chosen. The plate surface of Fig. 6, the z. B. could form a table was put together from a system in which the length of the mold section is 100 mm; the side lengths of the base plate are 600 × 800 mm, the ratio of the sides being 3: 4. The other plate parts are dimensioned by multiplying by the length of the molding section. The table in Fig. 6 was put together so that a large plate 8 (1200 × 800) was connected to the base plate 9 by an angle piece 10 (600 × 800 × 1000). An equilateral triangular piece 12 was attached to the end face of the large plate 8 , with which an angle of 45 ° can optionally be formed. On the long side of the base plate 9 , an additional plate 11 (800 × 300) consisting of half the base plate was attached. The structure of Fig. 6 is suitable for. B. to the office table.

The formation of various surface combinations is very simple with the method of this invention. First of all, of course, at least two plates made according to the invention must be prepared, which can be joined together. Then the plate edges are adjusted so that the peaks 4 of the base sheet 2 of the first plate can be placed in the valleys 5 of the base sheet 2 of the second plate. Understandably, the valleys 5 and the peaks 4 of the offset arch lie against each other in the same way. It should be noted that the plate edges do not have to lie together over their entire length, in principle it is sufficient if the plates are only placed together over one wavelength. It is often better if the panel seams are not completely in line, but form a grid pattern, with one panel supporting the transverse seam between the adjacent panels. When the panels are placed together as desired, the edges are pressed together and the connection is complete.

As is apparent from the above, this invention has several embodiments and areas of use. The Invention may also, such as that in the following claims included examples show in many designs be applied. The pieces to be joined don't have to necessarily be flat, but the area of the Object can be spherical from the impact surface Extend area. The surface can be awarded with various decorations or the like.
