- the fixation device that the invention proposes solves the aforementioned problem in a fully satisfactory way, based on the fact that the plate on which this device is essentially embodied has a proximal fixation on a minimum of two axes, which it ensures stability against rotations, while on the other hand said plate guarantees a good travel in the distal compression holes, ensuring the stability of the relative positions of the two fragments and a good compression in the cutting plane.
- the plate in which said device is embodied has as one of its characteristics the fact that in its proximal area, that is, in its area near the tubular terminal for coupling to the femur neck, it incorporates a pair of lateral expansions equipped with respective holes, which allow the implantation through them of a staple or the like, for fixing to the bone, which acts as an anti-rotation element for the prosthesis.

- the screw for fixing to the neck of the femur in addition to the classic determining sector of a cancellous screw, which is the one that is actually fixed to the bone, incorporates as an axial extension of the same a coupling arm with anti-rotational character in the tubular end of the plate, provided for the purpose of a penetration limiting stop, in the form of a cylindrical crown, located next to the cancellous screw, and provided with a blind axial hole, open towards its free end, through which it receives, at the outer or opposite end of the tubular terminal of the plate, to a compression screw, with a suitably oversized head to impinge on the mouth of said tubular terminal, pulling against the latter the telescopic screw.

- Said telescopic screw (5) represented in detail in Figures 4 and 5, has a sector (6) that configures a cancellous screw, for insertion in the neck of the femur, finished off by its internal end in a stop (7) materialized in a cylindrical crown, to support the free end (8) of the tubular terminal (2), establishing an arm (5) beyond said stop (7) with a section coinciding with that of the hole (3) of the tubular terminal (2), as seen in figure 5, this arm (5) being provided with a blind, threaded axial hole (9), intended to receive a compression screw (10), finished off in a wide head (11) intended to support the external end of the hole (3) of the tubular terminal, the one corresponding to the area where said terminal joins the plate itself (1).
- the plate (1) in the aforementioned area of attachment to the tubular terminal (2) and on its internal face, incorporates a notch or recess (12), especially visible in Figure 2, which facilitates the bending of the plate, to vary the primitive angulation between the plate itself (1) and the tubular terminal (2), in order to adapt it to the specific requirements of each patient.
- the plate (1) has two lateral expansions or fins (13) in which respective holes (14) are located, which have they have been designed and positioned in order to make way for the lateral branches of a clip (15) such as that shown in Figures 8 and 9, or for respective screws for fixing small fragments.

- the telescopic thyme (6) is placed in the neck of the femur, leaving its arm (5) in view below the cortex of the femur.
- the osteotomy is then performed and the cervical-diaphyseal angle is measured.
- the plate (1) is bent by its notch or recess (12), adapting it to the previously measured angle and the tubular terminal (2) is coupled to the arm (5) of the thyme, trying to match the flat faces (4) between them of the internal surface of the hole (3) of the terminal (2) and the external surface of the arm (5) of the thyme (6).
- the telescopic screw (5-6) is fixed to the plate (1), with the collaboration of a compression screw (10), with which the two fragments of the bone are solidly joined. Finally, a staple (15) is implanted in the bone, through the holes (14) of the plate (1), to immobilize said plate in an angular sense with respect to the axis of the neck of the femur.
