Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for delivering at least one water-soluble active substance to a cleaning brush, in particular for toilet cleaning, with a receiving element in which the active substance is arranged and which can be detachably attached to the brush handle of the cleaning brush.
  • DE 100 26 522 A1 discloses a device for the metered delivery of cleaning agent to a cleaning brush, in particular for toilet cleaning, with a product container for the cleaning agent, the product container being designed for releasable attachment to the brush handle of the cleaning brush and at least one push-in side wall area and an underside Has outlet opening, which opens when pressure is exerted on the push-in side wall area.

  • the device according to the invention is after single use, i.e. ready for use after immersion in water or overflowing with water, since appropriately dissolved active substance, which can be solid, granular, gel-like or liquid, enters the lower second chamber through the opening on the underside of the first chamber.

  • An active activity of the user is not necessary, and an exact amount of product can also be set by dimensioning the second chamber accordingly.

  • several overflow outlet openings can also be provided on the second chamber or chambers. Since the overflow outlet openings are preferably to be arranged radially on the inside, in order to ensure that the released active substance drips only onto the bristles of the cleaning brush and not into the environment, the provision of two second lower chambers offers the advantage that satisfactory active substance delivery also takes place. if the cleaning brush is held at an angle in only one direction during the cleaning process, which could result in too little active substance solution escaping.
  • the receiving element has at least two first chambers, a different active substance being arranged in each first chamber. This makes it possible to use active substances that have to be stored separately from one another and may only be mixed with one another during use, since they are then either no longer effective or are not compatible with common storage anyway. This makes it possible to make such a device suitable for the use of incompatible recipe components.
  • the active substances are incompatible, it is preferably provided that at least one separate second chamber is assigned to each first chamber, that is to say that the two dissolved active substances can only be mixed after they have emerged from the separated second chambers, i.e. before No mixing takes place in a common second chamber.

Different first chambers 8 are then assigned to these first chambers, such that the active substances only come into contact with one another on the cleaning brush even after it has exited the device. This separate inclusion and delivery of different active substances opens up completely new possibilities for the product design of such active substances.
