Abstract

Procédé de contrôle de l'homogénéité de température de produits sidérurgiques (B) dans un four de réchauffage (5) équipé de brûleurs latéraux sur chacun de deux côtés opposés, parallèles à la direction de déplacement (D) des produits dans le four, procédé selon lequel on fait fonctionner les brûleurs latéraux en tout ou rien, et on règle le temps de fonctionnement et d'arrêt de chaque brûleur pour obtenir la température souhaitée. On choisit comme brûleurs latéraux des brûleus à flamme étalée (1-4); on fait fonctionner ces brûleurs à un régime proche du régime maximum ou au régime maximum, et l'ordre d'allumage des brûleurs (1-4) est choisi pour favoriser le brassage et la circulation des fumées afin de réduire le point chaud de la flamme pour obtenir une meilleure homogéneité de température des parois du four et des produits.
