Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de chariot servant à placer la porte d'un wagon couvert de chemin de fer de sorte que ladite porte couvre ou découvre une ouverture formée dans une paroi du wagon couvert. Le système selon l'invention comprend un chemin de guidage supérieur monté sur le wagon couvert et un chariot supérieur pourvu d'au moins un rouleau fixé rotatif et coopérant avec le chemin de guidage supérieur. Une plaque de sécurité restreint le mouvement vertical du rouleau de sorte à empêcher que le chariot ne déraille du chemin de guidage. Cette plaque de sécurité peut présenter diverses conceptions afin d'augmenter au maximum la retenue de la roue contre le chemin de guidage. Un wagon couvert utilisant soit une porte coulissante simple, soit une porte coulissante comprenant une porte associée de type à tampon peut mettre en oeuvre le système de chariot selon l'invention.
