Description

Rettungsgerät für eine im Wasser treibende Person Rescue device for a person floating in the water
The invention relates to a rescue device for a person floating in the water, consisting of two loops coupled to a mountain line, a swimming and a sinking loop, of which the swimming loop is sufficient for the upper body of a person surrounded by the swimming loop and the sinking loop is sufficient for that Has the thigh or knee area of this person surrounded by the swimming loop, the loops being elongated bodies which are connected at their ends to one another and to the recovery line.
Such a rescue device has been developed by Prof. M.Schwindt and has become known from DE 100 37 868.4. This rescue device has proven itself extremely well in practical use. It was designed for rescue with the help of a helper who jumped into the water, who swims to the person to be rescued and who pulls the two loops of the person to be rescued before pulling it to the rescue ship with the help of the rescue line. The swimming strap is designed and dimensioned so that it floats on the water without the person to be rescued, making it easy for the helper to see and grasp. This rescue device takes up little space when stored on board and is extraordinary can be deployed quickly, easily thrown to a helpless person floating in the water and easily killed by him. The particular advantage is that the person to be rescued, when lifted out of the water, comes into an almost horizontal position, in which the swimming loop grips the upper body and the sinking loop grips the thighs or knees. This position of the person to be rescued is particularly gentle on the circulatory system when it is lifted out of the water and thus avoids health-endangering and sometimes even fatal consequences for the person to be rescued, as have often occurred if a person stretches vertically with the help of a line wrapped around the upper body was heaved out of the water.
The aim of the present invention is to further develop this rescue device in such a way that it can also be used without the aid of a rescuer who has jumped into the water and can be put on and used correctly by the person to be rescued without instructions.
The invention is that the swimming loop is dimensioned so strong in diameter that it can carry the person to be rescued on the water, that the swimming loop has the shape of a U, that the recovery line on at least one of the two free ends of the Leg of the U-shaped swimming loop is coupled that the swimming loop has an elasticity that allows its ends to bend together and that at least one of the two loops is provided with handles in the region of at least one of its two open ends.
As a result, the swimming loop has been given the properties of a lifebuoy without having its ring shape in the idle state. It has received a shape that is carried by a lay person floating in the water as a person- de swimming aid is recognized and can be used and placed around the body. The person to be rescued can float or swim into the swimming loop of this rescue device and then cling to the swimming loop or its handles. No helper is necessary for this. The recovery line can then be pulled in from the rescue ship and the person to be recovered can be pulled to the ship's side wall. The person to be rescued is always pulled into the swimming loop, it does not fall out of the open end of the swimming loop. At the latest on the side wall, the sinking loop falls by itself under the buttocks of the person to be rescued, without any addition of a rescuer or the person to be rescued, so that the person in a horizontal lying position can be lifted out of the water.
The swimming loop should have sufficient buoyancy for a person to be rescued from the swimming loop and the sinking loop should have sufficient circumference for the thigh or knee area of this person surrounded by the swimming loop.
If this lifting is done manually by two helpers on board, the handles on the swimming and / or sinking loop perform particularly well, as they allow the person to be rescued to be lifted out without touching them.
It is advantageous if each of the two ends of a loop is provided with two handles, an outward and an inward handle. The person to be rescued can cling to the inward-facing handles and can also remain clipped when the helpers lifting them out of the water grab hold of the outward-facing handles. It is expedient if the handles are made of a soft material, preferably a textile or a soft plastic, in order to avoid injuries.
For reasons of easy manufacture and inexpensive handling, it is advantageous if the handles have the shape of a loop.
This rescue device can be easily created if the handles are sewn onto the cover fabric of the floating body in the swimming loop.
If the drop side is provided with an outwardly projecting edge at its upper end, it can be difficult to lift in the person to be rescued if the rescue device hooks with its upper part behind this edge. This can be remedied if the ends of the sinking and / or swimming loop are provided with a deflector in the form of a round body which is attached transversely with its axis to the axis of the swimming and or sinking loop.
The person in this rescue device can be additionally secured in its position in the U-shaped swimming loop if another additional, hookable floating body is attached to the inside of the swimming loop, with which the swimming loop encloses the upper body of the person to be rescued The ring can be knotted together.
It is advantageous here if the additional floating body is firmly attached to the swimming loop on one side and has a hook, preferably a snap hook, on its other side, which hooks into one of the floating bodies. fixed ring can be hooked.
In this rescue device, the recovery line can expediently be coupled in such a way that the swimming and / or sinking loop is provided with a ring at each end, of which the recovery line is pulled through one and then attached to the other with its end.
Furthermore, the manageability of this rescue device can be facilitated in that at least one handle is likewise provided on the recovery line shortly before its end facing the swimming loop.
The rescue device is easier to use if the swimming loop and the sinking loop are separate components that are only coupled together when the person to be rescued is in the swimming loop (without the sinking loop) next to the side wall.
It is advantageous here if the sinking loop is equipped at its ends with a snap hook, which can be coupled to rings on the swimming loop.
Es zeigen:The essence of the invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown schematically in the drawing. Show it:
Fig.1 eine Ansicht der Schwimmschlaufe,1 is a view of the swimming loop,
Fig.2 eine Ansicht der Sinkschlaufe des Rettungsgerätes.2 shows a view of the sinker loop of the rescue device.
The rescue device for rescuing a person floating in the water consists of two coupled to a mountain line 1 Loops, a swimming loop 2 and a sinking loop 3, of which the swimming loop 2 has sufficient buoyancy for a person surrounded by the swimming loop 2 and the sinking loop 3 has sufficient circumference for grasping the thigh or knee area of this person surrounded by the swimming loop 2. The loops 2, 3 are elongated bodies which can be connected to one another at their ends and are connected to the mountain line 1.
At least one of the two loops 2, 3 is provided with handles 4, 5 in the region of its two ends.
The swimming loop 2 consists of a preferably elastic floating body 6, which is covered with a relatively rough covering material 7.
In this rescue device, each of the two ends of a loop 2, 3 is provided with two handles 4, 5, an outward-facing handle 5, which is intended for tackling an on-board helper, and an inward-facing handle, which the person to be recovered should be handled. It is expedient to manufacture the handles from a soft material, preferably a textile or a soft plastic, so that injuries during the rescue process are avoided. These handles can have the shape of a loop, which is very simple in terms of production technology. Such handles are expediently sewn onto the cover fabric of the floating body located in the swimming loop.
In this rescue device, the ends of the sinking loop 3 and / or swimming loop 2 are provided with a deflector 8 in the form of a round body attached transversely with its axis to the axis of the swimming and or sinking loop, around a Avoid catching the loop ends on a protruding side wall edge or on a rubbing strake.
Das andere Ende des Schwimmkörpers 9 ist mit einem Karabinerhaken 11 versehen, der in einen der an den Bezugsstoff 7 angenähten Ringe 12,13,14 je nach dem Körperumfang der zu rettenden Person einzuhängen istIn order to be able to close the U-shaped body of the swimming loop 2 into a ring and thus secure the person to be rescued in the swimming loop 2, a further additional, hookable floating body 9 is attached to the rescue device on the inside of the swimming loop 2 the swimming loop 2 can be linked to form a ring enclosing the upper body of the person to be rescued. One end of this floating body is provided with a belt 10 which is attached to the cover fabric 7 of the floating body 2. The other end of the floating body 9 is provided with a snap hook 11 which is to be hooked into one of the rings 12, 13, 14 sewn onto the cover fabric 7, depending on the body circumference of the person to be rescued
The swimming loop 2 and / or sinking loop 3 is expediently provided at its ends with a ring 15, an eye or an eyelet. However, the swimming loop can also be an annular belt provided with a floating body, which, with its part not occupied by the floating body, is attached to the mountain line, just as the sinking loop can also consist of an annular belt which is also attached to the mountain line is appended. The mountain line 1 can be fastened to the swimming loop 2 and / or the sinking loop 3 in various ways:
If the mountain line 1 is forked into two branches 16 at its end, the end of each branch is hooked into a ring 16 attached to the end of these loops.
If the end of the line isn’t bifurcated into two branches, the mountain line 1 is pulled through one ring 15 and then attached to the other with its end.
To facilitate the heavy work of lifting the person to be recovered on board, it is expedient that at least one handle is likewise provided on the recovery line shortly before its end facing the swimming loop.
