Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil d'extrusion en continu de tubes de cuivres extrudés à partir d'une barre de cuivre (32) fournie en continu. A cet effet on utilise un rouleau écraseur (8) ajustable en continu monté de manière à pénétrer dans la gorge périphérique (4) d'une roue tournante (2) et appliquant une force radiale pouvant atteindre 10 tonnes sur la barre (32) de cuivre pour l'appliquer uniformément contre la gorge (4) avant l'opération d'extrusion. Le rouleau écraseur (8) est monté tournant librement sur un étrier (11) solidaire d'un bloc support (12), lui même monté coulissant sur un cadre support (14). La rotation limitée angulairement d'un axe (30) monté sur un excentrique et coopérant avec un logement (18), permet de placer le rouleau écraseur (8) dans la gorge (4) ou de l'en retirer. L'arbre (30) est entraîné par un moteur (non représenté) activé par des signaux, indiquant une déviation par rapport à l'application d'une force radiale requise prédéterminée, et fonction de la position du rouleau écraseur (8), de la température de la roue (2) et de la force appliquée sur le rouleau (8).
