Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de mélanges contenant du propylène et de l'éthylène avec un rapport molaire d'éthylène/propylène < 1, à partir de mélanges d'hydrocarbures C4 - C8, particulièrement oléfiniques, consistant à mettre lesdits mélanges d'hydrocarbures en contact avec un système catalytique, dans des conditions de craquage, à une température comprise entre 400 °C et 600 °C, à une vitesse spatiale horaire pondérale (WHSV) allant de 0,1 h -1 à 20 h -1 et à une pression comprise entre 0,1 et 30 atmosphères, caractérisés en ce que le système catalytique contient une première zéolite avec un indice de contrainte (C.I.) compris entre 1,5 et 2,5, dans une quantité comprise entre 20 et 80 % poids/poids, et d'une seconde zéolite avec un indice de contrainte (C.I.) compris entre 6,9 et 11,0, dans une quantité comprise entre 20 et 80 % poids/poids, le rapport molaire Si02/Al2 03 des deux zéolites étant plus élevé que 50. L'invention concerne aussi en particulier des systèmes catalytiques des mélanges d ZSM-12/ZSM-5 et de ZSM-12/ZSM-23.
