Abstract

L'invention a trait à un équipement de découpe et de formation (pliage) d'articles plats à partir d'une bande textile, en particulier de serviettes de gaze et de tampons de gaze. Le but de l'invention est d'augmenter la précision du pliage de serviettes de gaze, et d'exclure toute opération manuelle lors de la mise en piles des serviettes. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que la machine de formation de serviettes de gaze comprend un corps, des supports de bobines, un mécanisme destiné à plier longitudinalement une bande de gaze, un mécanisme destiné à fournir et à mesurer ladite bande de gaze, un mécanisme destiné à découper transversalement la bande de gaze et possédant une lame immobile, et un mécanisme destiné à plier transversalement la bande de gaze, lesdits mécanismes étant reliés entre eux de manière fonctionnelle. De plus, le mécanisme destiné à découper transversalement et le mécanisme destiné à plier transversalement la bande de gaze se présentent sous la forme d'une matrice commune, montée sur un plateau du corps, laquelle possède des montants mobiles et immobiles qui forment des fentes conçues pour retenir la partie coupée de la bande de gaze qui peut être déplacée. Des poinçons mobiles, destinés à plier transversalement les serviettes et à les déplacer de la partie coupée de la bande de gaze, sont disposés dans les fentes entre les montants.
